Kristina Werner ROCKS!!

Do you visit her blog and watch her videos? If you don't you REALLY should!! She is so generous! She decided to giveaway a TON of her stash to celebrate 10,000 subscribers! I WON!! Can you even believe it? The box was packed full of fantastic loot! I thought you might want to see it! First of all I do not know her at all. We have never talked and from the contents of the box one would think we have been the best of friends for years!
She included a single sheet of Bo Bunny paper. Pink and Brown my FAVORITE color combo EVER! She has no way of knowing this!
My all time FAVORITE company of ALL the companies out there?? My Mind's Eye! She sends me a MME Kit! Seriously! Again, there is no way she could ever know. I am one of 10.000 followers!
I have two daughters. Everything I buy is girly! I have THREE nephews and am making an album for each of them and I hardly have anything with a boy theme! Now I do an entire SU kit! How fantastic is that??

Flair, KI Memories softies stickers and TWO sizes of darling white brads!

I have only recently started buying American Crafts stamp sets. I LOVE the borders in each set. I have ELEVEN sets and she sends me TWO that I don't have! How cool is that? I LOVE them both!

Then last, but certainly not least, two sets of SU rub-ons! Aren't they fabulous?!! I LOVE them!
So I made her a lame thank you card LOL How do you say thank you to a stranger for sending the perfect gift? She recently got a cat so I went with my Inkadinkado cat stamps. The ruffle ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and I LOVE it! I have been HOARDING it! I am so glad I broke it out I love it! You will see it on all my cards soon LOL
Any way, a HUGE THANK YOU! to Kristina! I was so happy that I won when I replied to her email asking for my address I forgot to give it to her! LOL
Thanks Kristina, I loved everything in the box and will put all of it to good use, I promise!

Let's Celebrate with a BLOG HOP!!

Hi Hoppers!!
Hopefully you arrived here after visiting Amber Hillman 's Blog. Isn't her work amazing?!! If you didn't arrive from Amber's blog you should start from the top so you don't miss anything! Head on over to Die Cut Diva to start! We are celebrating all the NEW DIES at Creative Cuts & More! This month I decided to make a Card Portfolio for a good friend of mine! She loved it! Hopefully she won't be insulted if she sees just how easy this was! LOL Here it is closed up. I put Prima flowers on the front so I was only able to use 4 cards with matching envelopes. The portfolio will hold up to 6 flat cards with envelopes. The Decorative Label was my bottom layer, I just layered squares and put on a Prima flower with a brad from my brown embellishment jar! Everything is cut in Stardream Chiara. Until you have this paper in your hand you can not understand how beautiful it is. So shimmery and beautiful. I LOVE it! Here is the side view. The ribbon is from my stash. Here are the 4 cards. I made all the layers different and it was super fun deciding what should go where!
The Good Luck stamp is a Studio G I think. All of my dollar stamps are separated and put in CD cases but it is definitely a dollar stamp, could be from Inkadinkado. I love the Filigree Rectangle Label and the Decorative Label. The flower is a Prima and the brad is from my stash.
The Get Well stamp is another dollar one. The Decorative Label is perfect for every card!
The Just A Note stamp is also a dollar stamp. The Vintage Label's are AWESOME! I could use a hundred of these LOL The flower is again a Prima and the brad is from my stash.
Thinking of you again is a dollar stamp. More labels! You have to look at all the labels! Another Prima, big shocker! :-) The button is from my stash as well.
I seriously made these cards in about an hour! It was so easy and so much fun! Now it's time to hop on over to Ceal Pritchett' s Blog! I can't wait to see what she made!

Thank You and Happy Birthday!

This is another sketch challenge! I told you I am loving this LOL I Heart 2 Stamp is another great blog! I made my fantastic DH a birthday card and it came together so fast I whipped out another one for a Thank You card!

The stamp set is from Inkadinkado, the ink is Chestnut Roan from ColorBox. I used my Cricut, Platin Schoolbook I think for the circles and hearts. The paper is scraps of Bazzill Bling and I think SU for the circle. It looks like it has hair in it LOL I got it about 7 years ago to make Thanksgiving cards for work so my memory is foggy on that. LOL The buttons are by Darice, they come in a huge clear bag and are a screaming deal!

OK, I am off to workout, all this scrapping and blogging has me way behind schedule! :-)

Thanks for looking!

A card sketch along with a color challenge!

I multi tasked on this one! I hope that's OK! :-)

Create 4 Fun had this really cute sketch and I knew I had to try it. Scrapmaster's Paradise had this Color Journey Challenge so I thought combining the two would be a fine idea. I drove all the way over to my friend Terry's house to borrow her Ruby Red ink. That is where the card went South for me. The more I look at it the less I like it. I already mailed the card. LOL What's done is done LOL I did it and it's really not that bad but really was a challenge for me. That is what it's all about right?

Designed to Inspire Your Creativity

Well, since National Scrapbook Day I have been a challenge participating fool! I love that I can take an hour and go in my room and knock out a page in no time! Most days I don't get in there until 10:00 PM so I am tired and the help of a sketch ROCKS!

Now the rules always confuse me LOL This sketch was to use 3 photo's. Well I only scrap chronologically and I can't stray from that. So the next page in Carlee's album there were no pictures. BUT I had her long skinny check up report from her 2 week visit and her appointment card for the next one. It took her 2 weeks but she gained back all the weight she lost and now she was able to just have breast milk. No more of that stinky formula that made me gag every time I smelled it LOL

I can't even tell you how many glue dots I used on that ribbon border, right around forty I think LOL That thing will be there until the end of time! That flower is the one I made for the flower challenge on My Pink Stamper on NSD that I got sidetracked and totally forgot to use. [DORK] All the paper is bling and scraps. Except the actual page.

Be sure to check out the Designed to Inspire Your Creativity blog. I really like it!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thrift Store Finds! REALLY GREAT DEALS!!

On my birthday our local Goodwill stores put their entire store on sale for 50% off! I LOVE that! I went to two of them baby free so I could really dig around. LOVE IT!
YEP! That is a brand new EK punch $1.99 after the sale .99 cents SCORE!!!

TONS of bobbins [is that what they are called? Sewing is new to me] .99 cents. A whopping .49 with the sale! SCORE!!!
A WHOLE BAG OF NOTIONS!!!!!!!! $4.99. $2.49 after the sale and look what was in it! Going through it was so much fun!

Vintage little boxes. Needles and a tool thing for the sewing machine. The red egg thing? NO CLUE?? What is that??

An old cute little box filled to the brim with fun stuff! Scissors, lace, buttons.....

Umm...... a piece of a bra just in case she needed it later???? You get some odd things in a good thrift store find LOL
Look at these little gems. I think I'll make my sister a turtle neck. LOL

I can now do a quick little surgery should the need arise. I could have used the pair on the right to get the bead out of Carlee's nose earlier in the day! A little bleach to sterilize........

and SURGICAL SILK!! Who knew? Now I am prepared to stitch up people too!

A recipe for salt free pickles! I've been meaning to find a pickle recipe forever! :-)

Look at all this lace! There is a ton of it and it is so clean and I forgot to say I tore a hole in the bag and smelled it! NO SMOKE! Cigarette smell is a deal breaker for me.

LOL When I took the picture I thought that was a ruler LOL It's not LOL It's a hole scaler! Can you believe I lived 42 years without these things?

Lots more lace!
Ribbon and seam binding?? I'll slap it on a card like it's ribbon I think!

More little treasures. I think I'll use those snazzy button clasps on my sister's turtle neck. TEST TUBES! Again, how have I survived without all these treasures?? :-)

A vintage little box of things. Some of the things I have never seen before.......

These I will decorate Carla's turtle neck with! Roses, butterflies, an anchor and the dogs!

She will love the Poodles. She really loves dogs! LOL

Elastic

A cute little sewing kit.

The treasures in the bottom of the box. That tool is a screwdriver. I love how she pinned her lace with an open safety pin. Pretty clever idea! A tiny little ruler.
Here is the red egg thing again. I can't figure out what it is for. Does anyone know? It had to do something right?
All that for $2.49! SCORE!!! Man I love thrift stores. I really wanted it to be full of buttons! What a dream come true that will be one day!
I'm off to work on my sister's new shirt. LOL

Have you ever been to this blog?

A.Go's Craftomonium? You need to go and now would be a good time! :-)
Not only is Albert HUGELY talented but he is incredibly generous! I won a drawing from him for a Cricut cartridge, Give A Hoot! It was my first blog winning experience and I was BEYOND excited! Morgan called me and said Mom, you got something scrapbook-y in the mail! Want to know how I know what it is? I said yes! [She usually does not open my mail] She said the TAPE is the coolest! The tape is the coolest! I have never seen it before and I really love it!Now, look at how gorgeous this card is! It is so shimmery you have no idea! It is a gorgeous card. I knew he was good, I follow his blog, but *GASP* now how will I ever send him an adequate Thank You card? Then he included these American Crafts journaling stickers. How could he possibly know I am working on a recipe album? Then he included these gorgeous Prima pearls!
Then THE GIVE A HOOT CARTRIDGE!!!!!!!! Can you even believe it? I am so beyond thankful! Nicest RAK EVAH!!!
Albert, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made my whole day! I'll be making you a card tonight and it won't be able to hold a candle to your beautiful work, but it will be a HUGE thanks for your generosity! I appreciate it more than you know!
BIG HUGS!

Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Photos Challenge (Part 1)

I really love Kristina's blog. She does GREAT card videos, make-up videos and she has a cool cat! This week she is doing a fun challenge, you should go look and join it.
I am entering this picture of Carlee. Look how stinkin' YUMMY she is. Her sissy built her this castle. Sissy helped her get her favorite stuffed toys and pillow and it was complete! She was so happy with it! I do love the color of the blocks and the Pooh Bear on her dress, but I love this picture mostly for other reasons. My 12 year old Morgan wore this dress when she was 12 months old. Carlee is 2 and 1/2 and now she can wear it. Those blocks are how we bought baby wipes for Morgan when she was in diapers 12 years ago! Every kid that has come over in the last 12 years has played with these blocks. They are the BEST and it was a sad day when they were discontinued. I wish I could find 100 more. I can remember my nephew Sky making Morgan a huge royal chair and she would sit in it with a tiara on LOL.
Well, there was a nice trip down memory lane for me LOL Go upload one of your favorite pictures, so far there are a bunch of super great ones! It will be hard to vote when the time comes!

MPS #12 Critter-Licious!

Last one, BEST. WEEKEND. EVER! I had such a blast even if my Peeps are grumpy! I deserved it and will be doing it more often! :-)

I will admit, this took me the longest. I do not get the layers on these carts some times. I cut so many of these monkeys you would not even believe it. I could not get it right. I'll bet it's still wrong! LOL But I'm calling it good! LOL

I REALLY LOVED all these challenges. A HUGE thanks to Robyn at My Pink Stamper and her design team. You girls really motivated me and I got a TON completed and an extra 2-pager even LOL

My peeps will be happy that my poor scrap room will be ignored for days and days again.......

MPS #11 Colors of the Rainbow

This page cracks me up! After the last 'issue' with challenge number 10 I thought this one I am doing by the book and not messing it up LOL We could use one or all of red, orange, yellow, green or blue. So I went back to my roots. My Creative Memories roots LMAO.
By this time I was completely tired and could not stop laughing! The challenge is definitely completed LOL
I'm almost done! Only one more! My fingers are about to fall off LOL
