Please help me organize these stamps.

I was lucky enough to go shopping with my BFF and we found these KI stamps for $0.97 cents! Because of their size, I am going to treat them just like I do the dollar stamps I collect.

These are the dollar stamps that are waiting to be sorted.

This I LOVE LOVE LOVE!! In the CD cases are all my dollar stamps or even small sets divided up. All the words are with the other words, sayings are with the other says, food is with the food and flowers are with the flowers. I use them WAY more now. I used the baseball card holders for a couple of years and I never used them. Now I use them all the time. It works perfectly for me and I am not bothered even a little bit that I don't know who made what stamp. LOL

These hang in front of my above my big table where I sit most of the time. There is no order. I have no idea what is where. These are here simply because they are short LOL They fit above my jars of embellishments that are sorted by color. Bryan made me this too for my ribbon. But I decided I needed a great ribbon sort of 2010 which you will see in a future post.

These stamps are here in my My Sentiments Exactly stamp case because their cases are hard plastic and thick.

These stamps are in this bin because I have not hung them on the curtain hooks in the closet yet. Or maybe I have hung them, then used them and threw them in here instead of hanging them back up again. There is no order what so ever.

These stamps are hung on the nifty little thing my fabulous husband, Bryan made me. I made one on my own with a twist to tighten rod thing that fell down. Repeatedly. It made me shout ugly words. Repeatedly. He fixed it permanently. I love him. A lot!

These are the hooks I found to hang my stamps. I got these super cute pink ones from Target on clearance for a great price like $1.89 or something. Then one day at Savers [a local thrift store that I LOVE] I found 2 packs of bronze hooks for $1.99 and I had a 20% off coupon. What's better than cheap storage solutions? :-) However I would love to find them in plastic. The metal ones are really heavy. They are solid and too heavy for the thin rod on my desk. The rod on my desk is going to break and I think there just may be more ugly words. If you ever see any in plastic please call me and tell me where to go. If I don't have that store please buy me 50 of them and I'll paypal you and RAK you for trusting me. :-)
So, let's hear your suggestions on organizing these stamps I adore so much. All my Baby sets and Recipe sets are not mixed in with these. They are sorted elsewhere in my room which you will see in future posts. I spend an insane amount of time rifling through these sets and then end up over at the cheap stamps rack grabbing a CD case labeled cupcakes. KWIM?
How are your sets sorted? Do you just know what you are looking for? Do you waste a lot of time looking through them for one that strikes your fancy? Let's get organized! YIPPEE!!

How in the world do you emboss with the Sizzix plates in the CuttleBug?

It's just not working for me.....

I was hoping as my plate shattered at least the embossing was going to be very cool! I LOVE the hearts.
Can you even see the embossing? I printed out a great 'sandwich' list from Split Coast Stampers. But the plates are not listed. They are obviously thicker than the Fiskars plates because that sandwich, really does not work at all. LOL

I LOVE Make and Takes, don't you?

I am one of the lucky ones that got to attend The Scrap-A-Teeny girls crop! I love those girls! Not only are they amazingly talented, and create the greatest things EVER, but they make me laugh. A lot. We have BIG FUN every time we get together.

I love Make and Takes because someone else does the thinking for you. I love that it is usually a quick and easy thing to make. I love that once I am home every time I look at it I think of how much fun I had with my peeps making it. :-) Here is what we made on Saturday.

How cute is that? A pad of paper to make a list. I love lists. My family spends a great amount of time making fun of me and my lists. Bring it on peeps, the thrill of scratching things off the list is worth all the fun you want to make of me LOL That polka dot piece is a pocket. It even had a calendar! I love it! I can't wait for the next one!

I love owls too

I made this card for a little girl named Delia. She is sick. She really loves owls. You should make her a card too. I heard about her from Dustin Pike. Dustin is giving away his digital owl stamps for free. How kind is he? Bryan was on the computer when I sat down to make Delia her card so I didn't get to use his stamp. But I'll send her another card in a few days and use them. I have a TON of owl stamps. I try to send out cards every time I see a post like this. I think you should too. :-)

Do you LOVE making your own albums? I know I do! This Mix and Match album is THE BEST!! I had the front and back cover cut in acetate. Then I had 8 pages cut in chipboard. Then I had all the pages custom cut again in My Minds Eye Twinkle Twinkle Little Girl for all the right sides and all the left sides cut in a matching Bazzil or Stardust. I wish I could show you today, but I am not finished with the album. Here is the cover and the second page.
If you are a Nosey Nellie like me you will want to know what the journaling says. It says Carlee loves it when Morgan paints her toes. Carlee has a new camera smile. [The stinker smiles like this almost EVERY time I take her picture. You will see the same smile on upcoming pages, where I can journal more about it.]
So if you want to make a mini album for your coffee table of all your favorite pictures I highly suggest your order this Mix and Match album. I love the size and the edges a lot!
The flower is a Prima, the font is Moxie from Quickutz which I also ran through my CuttleBug with my Swiss Dots folder. The journaling card is also from My Mind's Eye, the Tres Jolie line I think.
Thanks for looking today you really should take a look at all the albums that Creative Cuts and More has to offer. I love them all and soon the people that come to my house will just have to hold their coffee cup while they look through all the albums on my coffee table! :-)

Creative Cuts & More Blog Hop

Hi Bloggers!

Hopefully you have arrived here from Holly's Blog! If you didn't, you might want to start from the top of hop over at Die Cut Diva so you don't miss a thing! This months theme is Easter and St. Patrick's Day!

I had a GREAT time playing with these window cards!

This square window card I had cut in smooth white cardstock. I decided to line the inside of the car with orange Bazzil to make the bunny pop up. The stamps are from Image Tree the card set called Rabbit. The Rhinestone Bling Embellishment Kit is one of my favorite embellishments. I reach for it for almost all my cards. The larger ones are just from my stash but I still used that fantastic tool! The bunny feet tracks are on the flap of the envelope I just flipped it up so you could see.For my St. Patrick's Day Circle Window card, also cut in smooth white. I stamped Changito right in the hole. It was easy as can be! I added a little ink, some fiber from my BFF's stash LOL and stickles of coarse.

What I love about these cards is how easy they are. I made these cards in no time flat. Every card does not need to take hours especially if you are going to make dozens of them!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you liked the cards. From here you should hop on over to Kayla's blog, you won't want to miss what she made!

Until next time,

Noelle
