WOAH! Talk about a CHALLENGE!

I am truly challenged taking Kristina and Jennifer's Summer Card Camp 2011  LOL

I am not sure I ever really knew this about myself, but I guess I don't like summer colors LOL  I also think I don't like C&S!  I didn't really know I could even make a card without patterned paper!  LOL 

But I knew if I added Primas and Stickles it would be OK.

These are the colors and they are a problem for me LOL

Summer Card Camp 2011 Week 1 - Monday

I have followed Kristina and Jennifer for years!  I love their work a lot!  I was so excited when they teamed up I joined the class immediately!  You can check it out HERE.  I am sure it's not too late to join!

This is my first online class and I really like it.  I printed out the pdf file and I may have actually skipped down the hall to my scrap room in the middle of the day!  :)

The 'happy' and the oval are from an {ippity} stamp set called Cherish Your Dreams.

The 'because of you' is another {ippity} stamp set called Love in Return.

I used a Color Block A2 Mat from Creative Cuts and More.

I used clear EP from American Crafts and Blushing Pink EP from Stamp 'n Stuff.

I finally got a Martha scoreboard and I used it to make the rosette, because I still don't have either of Tim's dies *GASP*!  The butterflies are also from Martha and I love that punch!

Happy Friday! It's time for Friends With Flair!

Hi!  Today I have a super simple and fast layout to share!  My 13 year old was completely in love with her sister's 'paws' and feet.  We have always had a take as many pictures as you want anytime you want rule in our house.  My Canon EOS Rebel was expensive!  But the pictures Morgan has taken with it over the last 5 years are totally worth it :)  Priceless as they say.  :)  So we let her use it.  Any time she wants and when I upload pictures I always love what I see even if they aren't the pictures I would have taken!

Have you seen Unity's new way of doing Friends With Flair?  I love it so much I decided to start playing in it!  It's about time right?  LOL  May I also suggest you leave their blog open all day long and sing your heart out to their play-list?  It's line-up is as good as their stamps LOL  I used a Spellbinder label die to cut that perfect shape!  I embossed a frame from Love In Return by {ippity} and it is on sale for $19.20!  I love that frame!  Isn't it funny how we critique ourselves after the fact?  I am now wishing those pearls were much bigger.  Last night I loved how little they were because Carlee is so little!  Oh well life is too short for redo's so I'm keeping it and I love it LOL  Plus it's already in the album!  LOL  You can't see it in the pictures but I 'stitched' around all the pictures.

Growing In Unity Day 2

Hi!  How are you today???

For today I have a mini card to stick in a gift bag!  I used several different {ippity} stamp sets on this one. Book It is the background.  I used the flower from Now and Always I stamped it 3 times the largest on the Basic Grey paper is embossed so it stand out a little more.  I cut it out and layered it, easy as can be!  That little gem is from these fun color coordinated embellishment packs I pick up from Hobby Lobby.  I used the banner from Love In Return I embossed it and cut it out and then I stamped the Happy Birthday from How You Doin'?  [I seriously can't even type that without laughing and hearing Joey from Friends say that!]   The twine was white but I put it on my Chestnut Roan Chalk ink pad and smashed it down with my rub on tool until it was completely brown!  After it was dry I cut a slit in the card and wrapped it around a few times!

A layout for today!

This isn't the best layout ever, but the pictures make me so happy!  Carlee is sleeping in her bassinet [that was Morgan's]  Morgan was all snuggled in next to her on the couch patiently watching TV and waiting for Carlee to wake up so she could hold her.  [Why did that change I wonder???  LOL]  Bryan was asleep in his chair and I was reading email.  We were all right where we should be.  I love it when we are all 4 in the same room.  We might be doing our own thing but we are together.   The corners are from Cherish Your Dreams and this set is on sale for $19.20!    That fabulous frame is from Love In Return and it is on sale for $19.20!  The perfect saying is from Where You Should be and it's on sale for $14.40!
