Chick Challenge #2!

Are y'all playing in these Chick Challenges?  No?  WHY???  You can win $20. of {ippity} stamps!  How great is that?

Here is this weeks sketch.  It was WAY easier for me.  I forgave my Expression and used it.

I cut 3 ovals.  2 in Kraft and 1 in pink.   

I embossed the swirl from Make Your Mark and before I even knew what I was doing I stamped the smile from How You Doin'? [I keep hoping at some point I can mature enough to not LOL every time I type the name of this set, so far no such luck  LOL] on in Chestnut Roan my favorite ink instead of the Versamark.  I am pretty sure I have nearly lost my mind!  I embossed, cut out and popped up my favorite flower from Flowers + Friends = Priceless.  I wish you could see the inside of this flower, it is BEAUTIFUL, it embosses perfectly!!   

Here you can see how I attached the ovals to make the card.  

I just scored the bottom oval so the front of the card looks flat.  So super easy!

{ippity} Blossoms

As an {ippity} chick we all get to be featured on the {ippity} blog!

I'll be the first to admit it is sort of scary to see my face plastered on there LOL  I always get so nervous for these type of events.  I'm not sure why but I do!  LOL

I really love the layout I did for today.  Mostly because Bryan's chair has some sort of magical powers or something LOL  When Morgan, Carlee or I are sick we head straight for Daddy's chair!  If a baby needs to be put to sleep we head straight for Daddy's chair!  It is the best spot in the house!   No one even minds sitting on him if he is already in the chair!  It makes it even better LOL

The journaling says It's the best spot in the house!  It's so good you don't even need a pacifier!  It's THAT good!  :) 

I LOVE Alphabetically Adorable.  I use it all the time.  Every letter embosses perfectly!  I didn't this time but I love to decorate each letter with Stickles after I emboss them.  The flowers are embossed and cut out.  They are from How You Doin'?

Growing In Unity Day 2

Hi!  How are you today???

For today I have a mini card to stick in a gift bag!  I used several different {ippity} stamp sets on this one. Book It is the background.  I used the flower from Now and Always I stamped it 3 times the largest on the Basic Grey paper is embossed so it stand out a little more.  I cut it out and layered it, easy as can be!  That little gem is from these fun color coordinated embellishment packs I pick up from Hobby Lobby.  I used the banner from Love In Return I embossed it and cut it out and then I stamped the Happy Birthday from How You Doin'?  [I seriously can't even type that without laughing and hearing Joey from Friends say that!]   The twine was white but I put it on my Chestnut Roan Chalk ink pad and smashed it down with my rub on tool until it was completely brown!  After it was dry I cut a slit in the card and wrapped it around a few times!
