Challenges, LOL

They call them that for a reason right?  LOL
I did one for dry embossing a long time ago but I put the paper in the embossing folder upside down so I set that to the side for another card.
My sister is an A Muse Studio Consultant and I try very hard to play in their challenges.  But I am always late.  This week Carla is challenging us to dry emboss.  SCORE!  Previously it was twine and before that it was buttons.  So I did them all in one card!  AND I didn't stamp!  *GASP*  Who DOES that?
Each and every one of you should go play!  If you win, Carla will send you two catalogs!  She will also spoil you with extra stuff!  That is how she rolls and I love her like no other!
Check it out HERE!
Thanks for stopping by today!
PS you can get the twine I used HERE.  Free shipping!

A 365 Card Challenge

I got a wild hair yesterday and decided to join 6 challenges.  I made 2 cards last night, we will see how far I get.   365 Cards is an awesome blog, you should all come play along!
I don't like the twine.  It seems to thin to me.  But like a good player I stuck with the sketch.
I am head over heels for  these My Mind's Eye 6 x 6 paper pads!  They makes card decisions quick and easy!
This is my favorite {ippity} butterfly from Now & Always
The sentiment is from The Simple Things.
Thanks for stopping by today!  Don't forget The Chick Challenge, we have another fun sketch on Thursday!  It is my favorite so far!

YOU DID IT!

My friend Pat, that owned The Cropping Corner has these amazing boys.
One of them just graduated from college, Reed in Portland.  REALLY???
Wasn't it just yesterday that when I heard him come home from high school I knew it was time to leave to meet Morgan when the elementary school got out?
I used an {ippity} stamp from Delightful Little Things on the inside.  The rectangle is a Spellbinder die.  The Congratulations is from a Hampton Art set called Sentiments.  The brown and white Twine is only $2.50 for 25 yards!
This super cute stamp set is only $24.00.  For this week it will be on sale for 10% off!  Free shipping and only $21.60!  Plus I will throw in some twine in the color of your choice!  This offer expires June 2, 2011.

I used Basic Grey Nook and Pantry on most of it.  Which you can get for 50% off right now and if you use the coupon code GOODBYE, you can get another 25% off!  Can't beat that bargain!
This page I used my red and white twine.  I have lots of colors on sale for 25 yards for $2.50 and I'll pay the shipping :)

Pennant Album!

I made this album for our Blog Hop last month.  I LOVE this Creative Cuts Album called Pennant #4!  It was super fun to make!

The flowers, buttons, brads etc are all from my stash, I open everything and throw it in the color coordinated jar so I never really know where it came from but I use it much more often being able to see it all  :)
The words are all really old rub-ins by Making Memories.  I just noticed I didn't stamp in this album!
Those darling sock monkey's came from Hobby Lobby.  I just cut their arms off and put them where I wanted them.
You can get this Twine right here!  :)
The ruffle gingham ribbon is also from Hobby Lobby.
My fantastic 13 year old daughter took all these pictures and Carlee will do ANYTHING for Morgan  :)
I ordered 2 pages in acetate for the covers!
