A card with no purpose? Who does that??

I did!   LOL  I am so very far behind on card sending!  I am sending cards that should have been sent a month or more ago!  I just happen to love this sentiment.  Bryan took our girls to Oklahoma to visit his family and I kept thinking about things I missed about the three of them.  So super SAPPY!  But don't you love those thoughts that make you take a breath.  I was drying off after my shower and I thought, DANG!  I even shaved my legs.  Carlee didn't knock on the door or stick her darling little fingers under it and shout CAN YOU SEE MY PAWS??? even once.  Long showers and leg shaving is totally over-rated!  Bryan, Morgan and Carlee are all back home and safe and the house is back to a mess and really, I couldn't be happier :)
AND, my camera is back!  Yes I love this object so very much.  I am not ashamed to admit it either!  :)  I can't wait to show you all the pictures they took!  But I made a LOT of cards while they were gone LOL
Thanks for stopping by today!  And in another 4 plus years when I am in my house all alone again for FOUR days, it will be clean again.  And again I will do nothing but Capture the Moments that take my breath away!  :)
Thanks for stopping by today!  The corners are from an {ippity} set called You Deserve.  The sentiment is from another {ippity} set called  Life's Little Moments.  The gems are from Hero Arts.  The little fake snap stickers are from Studio G and the border punch I got on clearance from Michal's for $5.99!  It's by Recollections.

Thoughts Of You!

Please excuse this awful picture.  Bryan is in Oklahoma with the good camera and I needed to get this card in the mail before he gets back with it.  So I used our awful camera.
I used an {ippity} set, I know big shocker right??  LOL
I adore this chandelier from Regal Greetings!  It embosses so beautifully!
For the next week you can get this set on sale for $21.60!  Free shipping and 25 years of twine in the colors of your choice!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Can we talk about glue please?

Last night I swear to you I almost had a fit like a 3 year old.
I am a scrapper, a card maker, I have a LOT of glue.
Now, what I expect when I squeeze a tube of glue is for it to come out and be sticky.  So I can complete my project.  That seems to me like glue's job right?
Both my glossy and my matte Glossy Accents are clogged.  Even with a needle I can't get  the glue out.  My Fabri-Tac, My Magic Scraps and my Zip Dry are clogged.  I was trying to glue chipboard back together, I just wanted a little amount of sticky in there so I could squeeze it shut and it would seal back together.   My ATG gun, foam dots, glue dots, killer tape won't work.  I needed glue.
What type of glue do you use?
Why can't someone invent a glue dispenser that works again.  One use for all this glue is getting pricey LOL  I soaked all the lids in hot soapy water over night.  Now I'm thinking the glue will be dry at the top of the bottles and I'll have to throw it all on the trash  LOL  I might just do that any way, I am so annoyed with all this useless stuff  LOL  I used Morgan's Elmers glue and it worked perfectly BTW!  LOL
So let's talk, what type of liquid glue do you use? Can you use it again?  Or is it a huge giant mess when you try to use it again?  LOL  Is Elmer's acid free?  It's like 50 cents LOL  AND it comes out over and over and over until the bottle is empty!  :)  Bring on the back to school sales!  LOL

I really love to read!

Pre-Carlee I read every single day.  LOL  Now I listen to books every single day.  When I jump in bed to read I wake up missing my place LOL
I made this bookmark for a really good friend of mine!  I thought she needed something other than a card.  I used Tag #07 - Long and just got busy stamping on it!
I used Thoughts From The Past for the background,
and put Books a' Flutter on it.  CONFESSION TIME! I popped everything up with pop-dots like I ALWAYS do and then thought, well that can't work  LOL
I colored in the books with different gel pens and added some twine at the top!  :)
A fun and practical thank you card!

All Things Unity #31 Stamps Never Used

*GASP*  I can't even tell you how many stamps I have that have never met ink!  But that is changing every day!  LOL  I ADORE Unity.  So playing along in all these challenges is BIG fun for me!  All Things Unity is a fantastic blog that will inspire you!  Be sure to check it out!
Please excuse this horrible picture!  Bryan took the Canon Rebel to Oklahoma this weekend so I had to make due with the worst camera I have ever owned LOL  a Nikon Coolpix.
The card base is KRAFT, not that you can tell  LOL.  The moon and stars are popped up and stamped on a pretty pale yelow.  The strip across the middle that is actually a really shimmery yellow ribbon.  LOL  I will retake this picture when Bryan gets back and you won't believe it!  OH!  I'll scan it!
LOL  There, now you can see it's really not the ugliest card on the planet.  It's the darn camera LOL  I don't know what the white strip on the bottom is either LOL  The card ends under the Welcome Little One!
For the next week, this set will be on sale for $21.60!  I have free shipping and 25 yards of free twine in the color of your choice!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Thanks Rosie!

For Rosie's Birthday we had a blog hop!  She gave out prizes and I was lucky enough to win!
She sent me 2 rolls of really beautiful SU! grosgrain ribbon and this amazing SU! Decorative Label Punch!  It is HUGE and I love it!  It cuts like butter!
I used two {ippity} sets on this the flowers are from Faith Blooms
and the sentiment is from Music Of My Heart!

Friends With Flair

I always get so motivated when I look at all the fantastic things made for Friends With Flair on Friday's over at the Unity Blog!
My sister and I are doing some craft fairs this summer!  I'll be selling my {ippity} stamps but we thought cards might sell too.  So I decided to make up a few sets.  That weird little piece sticking out is my business card.  My DH left this AM for Oklahoma and I sent him with my Canon so he could take pictures of everything so I don't miss anything.  :)  I wish I had noticed the card sticking out before I sent my camera off for 4 days! LOL  I made 5 cards, 4 for a set and one to send.
Just Wanted to Say is one of my favorite sets.  Those frames emboss perfectly every single time!  I LOVE them!  They are so easy to cut out.  There is a saying for everything and I think that makes this a perfect set!  To celebrate the holiday, it's on sale this weekend for 10% off.  That makes it only $16.20, until Tuesday!  I'll pay the shipping and send you some twine!  :)
Devoted is another great set!  I love butterflies and hearts and the sayings are very sweet!
It too, is on sale for 10% off until Tuesday.  That makes it $21.60, also free shipping and free twine!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a fantastic holiday weekend!

Thanks A Bunch!

This card isn't crooked LOL  It's just the picture.  :)
I used a Unity set that I ADORE!  It's Blossom Soup and 'souper' stinkin' cute!  LOL
I piled on a whole ton of Stickles and the polka dot paper is by October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

YOU DID IT!

My friend Pat, that owned The Cropping Corner has these amazing boys.
One of them just graduated from college, Reed in Portland.  REALLY???
Wasn't it just yesterday that when I heard him come home from high school I knew it was time to leave to meet Morgan when the elementary school got out?
I used an {ippity} stamp from Delightful Little Things on the inside.  The rectangle is a Spellbinder die.  The Congratulations is from a Hampton Art set called Sentiments.  The brown and white Twine is only $2.50 for 25 yards!
This super cute stamp set is only $24.00.  For this week it will be on sale for 10% off!  Free shipping and only $21.60!  Plus I will throw in some twine in the color of your choice!  This offer expires June 2, 2011.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

What's On Your Work Desk? Wednesday 103

I couldn't stand it anymore!  I love seeing what is on every ones work desk so I jumped in and am sharing mine!  I cataloged for about an hour last night, then I did a little embossing.  I left the scraps on my desk but I put away the EP and gun  LOL  See that mess at the bottom of the picture?  That is the top of my chair.  Morgan's cat Cali adores SHREDDING it!  She is such a bad cat!  She isn't even afraid to jump up there while I am sitting in the chair for a little more shredding!
God made her beautiful so I wouldn't choke her over the last NINE years!  LOL

Don't you think the 'net is an amazing place?

Do you see all of these phenomenal cards and tags?
Do you want to know where I got them?  From another {ippity} chick!  Technically someone who I am supposed to compete with for sales!  Instead I want to tell you what happened.  When I signed on last year I was super excited and could hardly stand it.  We have our own little {ippity} forum over on Split Coast Stampers and we all talk over there.  Well I had some question about something I honestly can't even remember.  Any way, so I emailed Nora Anne.  I liked how funny and helpful she was.  Only I am such a dork I had my fingers on the wrong keys and called her Mors instead of Nora Anne!  Well it stuck!  LOL
I've said it before and I'll say it again!  We are like peanut butter and jelly!  We get along so damn well it's like we have been friends forever and ever.  I mentioned that I had these craft fairs coming up and I wanted to make a bunch of great cards to try and sell the stamps a little better.
What does Mors do?  She sends me a boat load of them!
Seriously, how lucky am I?
Thanks Mors, you really are the best!  I really appreciate these cards and am so glad I picked you to lean on!  One day, when we have made a ton of money selling these amazing stamps, I can't wait to clink my beer bottle against yours and shout out WE DID IT!  ;)
LN

Thank You!

This was another MPS NSD challenge!  See I really was busy all day long LOL
I got that spellbinder set inverted square I think it is called on clearance for $8. at Hobby Lobby!  Man I love that place!  The card is from Creative Cuts and More.  The stamp is from Unity and the ribbon is by Creative Impressions.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!  :)

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

This is another My Pink Stamper challenge from NSD I never entered LOL
I absolutely LOVE this Scallop Border A2 card from Creative Cuts and More!
That darling cupcake is an itty bitty by Unity.  The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and I am in love with it!  It comes is a ton of colors.  I get a roll every time I go in there and it is always on sale for 50% off!  I LOVE that! LOL  A TON of years ago like 6 or 7 on my Scrapal email group we used to do these really fun color swaps!  Those little pink things are wax envelope seals!  When I did the great color sort of 2009? I combined absolutely everything and I love it!  I now use stuff I never would have used before!  I have no idea who sent them in, but it made me happy just thinking about all my Scrapal friends and all the fun we used to have swapping and flying out to California every year for a retreat!  If coarse I used Stickles because no card is complete without some sparkle right?
Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll be out front waiting for my mailman to bring my {ippity} order if you need me :)

A NSD layout!

We did quite a few challenges, but never did the blog posts to go with them!  LOL
This was a My Pink Stamper challenge to make a card or page with a kid theme.
I always LOVED the Me and My Big Ideas kid stickers so when I saw these stamps I knew I had to have them!  That was several days years ago.  This is the first time they have seen ink  LOL
Thanks for stopping by today!

My poor mailman!  He has about a week until I tackle him in the yard for not delivering the stamps *SNICKER*  I may or may not be the reason why we have had about 7 mail carriers in the 6 years we have owned this house :)

I can't post pictures on my blog!

I get a server rejection error every time I try.  If any of you know how I can fix this I would love the help!  I posted on SCS and to my DT and no one knows.  I even tried to post a picture already on my blog and it rejected it.
You can't really complain about free, but I really NEED to be able to post pictures LOL  Any ideas?
Thanks so much!
Noelle

I'd like all of you to meet my sister!

Her name is Carla!  Not only is she the best sister on the planet, but she is the best friend a girl could ask for!

She is now selling A Muse Studio stamps too!  Man are they CUTE!  Hard to believe I just said that being an {ippity} chick!  But I speak the truth.

I love that we each bring something different to the stampin' table!

You can check out her fabulous cards on her A Muse Studio Blog or on her personal Blog Paper Pastorale!  You won't regret it.  Her work is absolutely amazing.  I am always a tad annoyed that she got all the creative genes.  I will say my eyelashes are longer than hers and she is jealous of that so we are even!  LOL  Except my baby loves her more than me.  That just doesn't seem fair to me, but it was sure true this weekend!  :)

So head on over to her blog and check it out!  It will make you want to run to your stamp room and make a card!  :)

If you like anything I like, you should go look at something!

Angela the amazing owner of Unity did a blog post.  You can see it HERE!  You should go see it.  And read all the way to the bottom.  You will be happy you did.  I'm just sayin'!
Come On JUNE!  LOL
What are you waiting for?  GO!  HURRY!!  :)

My new Scraprooms!

I didn't change a thing on this wall.  This is my eye candy wall.  Prima flowers make me happy.  I bought most of these when my Mom passed away.  My sister healed with paper, I healed with flowers and we did our shopping together on a road trip I will never forget!  :)
This is my Besties spot!  She is a mess LMAO!
This is DD Morgan's spot.  She is an even bigger mess  LMAO  :)
This is my spot and I am the biggest mess you ever laid your eyes on!  LMAO
This is to my left.  All the CD cases on the wooden rack are dollar stamps separated by theme.  On the white shelves are the things I am working on.  Every baby thing and every cookbook thing.  Plus some wood mounted stamps that I might not unmount.  The wooden spinner shelves are already different.  Do all of you change things so fast you can't even get a blog post finished before you 'fix' something LOL  Now, my Embossing powder is on top and the black paper holders that hold my Creative Cuts and More stuff are behind me.  Those shelves have unmounted SU, brands that come in CD cases and CD's so we can sing like we know how to carry a tune! LOL
This is behind me.  The wood shelf is My Mind's Eye.  My most favorite paper makers EVER!  I hoard it but I use it too  LOL
There is my Unity collection and drawers with my clear stamps that have been cataloged.
Here is where I used to sit. It's now a catch all spot LOL  You can see two Uniquely Unity kits if you look closely!  I plan to keep cataloging here and make stuff in my new spot.
Someone got a very nice Unity order too  :)
Remember all those stamps that were all over the place?  Well that is no longer [except for the ones in CD cases already and unmounted stamps]  All of these need to be cataloged and filed away.  I'll never be able to finish it.  I did 6 more sets last night.  I have to keep on keeping on and don't worry, buying has stopped.  I don't care how cute they are, I can't catalog anymore LOL
This was a BRILLIANT idea I had!  This is where my feet go.  i put this box there so as I finish with something I can just put it in there and then put it away later.  It's not working for me LOL  I just keep piling on the floor all over the table move over to the catch all table etc.  LOL  So I have to clean up every night.  It's the only way it will work for me!
This is my other eye candy spot.  :)
My ribbon is such a mess.  Carlee loves rolling all the rolls all over the house!  LOL  The SU sets need to be unmounted.  I can't see that happening any time soon  LOL  The clear bin is a new work project!  I am going to log all of Terry's stamps so they fit in one book by set not by subject!  So it won't take very long except those are just the SU sets that begin with A and the first part of B  LOL  That paper section will grow and grow!
Here is a better look at my ribbon mess.  I love the glass jars!  Bestie is always buying me beautiful ones she finds at the 2nd hand stores!  I hope to have enough huge jars to have all the rolls contained.  LOL
My Cricut carts need to go, but I'm not that into it LOL  My Cricut is in the other room but I don't mind the walk, I like to pretend it is exercise LOL
I need to hang a curtain over this mess.  It just keeps getting worse!  LOL
Here is the paper.  Sorry the picture is so bad.
Scraps and my sewing machine.
A TV for Carlee to watch movies on, my Cricut and Morgan's scrap loot.
I can't have the camera and not take her picture!  She doesn't care if she is in Jammie's and has bed head!  LOL
The die cut station that works awesomely!  I messed it up on NSD in about 5 minutes LOL
The paper scraps!  Working for Creative Cuts and More makes a TON of scraps LOL  We use so many of them every single time we scrap and every time I head over there they hand me more and more LOL  That beer box is totally over flowing!  I need to file it but it bores me so I thought the box isn't that ugly.  After all I ADORE Coors Light!  LOL
So there it is!  We LOVE it and have already had so much fun scrapping into wee hours of the night.  Morgan loves her own space and I love having her spend so much time in there with me!  I'm thinking about having groceries delivered and finding a mail that will work for paper so I never have to leave again!  LOL
Thanks for stopping by today!
