Be Brave!

This is just a quick post.  I stuck that Target gift card there because it was handy LOL  It's really not on the layout but my entire credit card number was listed on the copay receipt and I thought that might be a bad idea!  The be brave squares are from She Sprouted Wings by Unity and the journal box is from my January 2011 KOTM To the Moon & Back!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thanks so much!

Are you guys getting in on the {ippity} Hop Hop Challenges with a Twist?  If not you should!  They are really fun!

With this card I took on 3 of the 4 challenges.  I skipped the sketch.

Sometimes I sit and look at a sketch and I just can't do it.  LOL  Other times I am like PHEW!  No need to think and whip out a card!  I used the photo inspiration, the color and the final twist being ribbon!  The color challenges are the hardest and most fun!
This is another roll of the Hobby Lobby ribbon I got for a dollar at 50% off last week!  I LOVE it!  I used Ranger embossing powder.  As you all know I can't make a card without embossing! LOL

How about some winners???

A HUGE thanks you to Unity for letting me have a turn at Growing In Unity!  It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed all the new people leaving comments and ordering!  THANK YOU!
We had 68 comments during the week!  I punched out some tabs and wrote the day and then 1 - 15 so I would know where to go and copy the comment.  I thought I had this all organized and it was going to be fun.  Carlee was excited about it when we punched all the tabs.  I even had her excited because her Sissy went to a church retreat at the last minute yesterday so I told her she could pick one for Morgan too.
She picked for the Unity stamp set first, I totally laughed when she picked Day 2, 4 of 15 NORA ANNE!

I love this Noelle!!!!! Super cute and I love how you used the Book It stamps! *AND* YOU ARE TOO MUCH!!!!!! I don't want to write a book here, I am having email problems, been trying to email you all day and keep getting kicked off!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for my bday gift, that was incredibly sweet and thoughtful of you! and I just LOVE it! :) I will write more later when my email is cooperating!
You're the best!!!!
I'll be back tomorrow to see what beauty you are sharing!!!
xx, Mors

Obviously she is a friend of mine and Carlee was really excited about picking a winner.  It was right then that I made the fatal mistake and things went South!  I said "OK, you get to pick one more winner for twine!"
She completely fell apart and started screaming "ONLY ONE MORE???"
I could not get her to cheer back up.  She wanted everyone to win stamps.  Not twine,  STAMPS!
She picked Day 1, 7 of 15 DENISE!!
I am sorry you won twine Denise LOL

Sweet card! I love the rosette too. Haven't bought the Tim Holtz die yet, and glad I waited. I like the idea of having the smaller size that is on the new die.

CONGRATS Nora Anne & Denise!  I am sorry these pictures aren't as fun as they should be.  Carlee has our backs though.  She really feels that every single person should get stamps.  So much so that 10 minutes later she is still sniffling about it.  I wish I was wealthy enough to send out 68 stamp sets!  LOL

Nora Anne the stamps you get to choose from are Margarita Moments, Along for the Ride, Berry Good Life or Grow Yourself Extraordinary!

Denise please email me your address and I'll send you 25 years of all the colors of twine!
Edited to add: Denise your blog is private I can't contact you!

Thanks everyone!  This was a really fun week!  Even if I can't send everyone a stamp set!
Just a reminder, Carlee REALLY loves stamps!  She has not come around to the twine yet LOL

Growing In Unity Day 5

What a fun week this has been!  Thanks so much for coming by all week!  Tomorrow Carlee and Morgan will draw from the jar and I'll do a post on who won!  I am so excited because I won from Lisa last week!

I thought I would end the week with a scrapbook page!  I am actually a scrapbooker and not a card maker LOL  I can just make cards faster and I am always needing a card.

I used me new favorite Unity set called Good Times Vintage Banner!  I LOVE it!  I cut out the banner and strung them together with Twine!

When my baby was a baby she LOVED to be swaddled and was happiest just peeking out of her blanket!

Here is a close up of how cool the banner stamp is!  The flowers are by Prima the font in a Quickutz, Moxie I think.  All the gems are from my stash and most likely from the dollar bins at Michael's!

OK, Blogger is not loading these pictures in the right order.  It also isn't letting me drag them, so instead of getting annoyed I am just leaving them  LOL
The flower is also a Revolution die from Quickutz!

All of the {ippity} stamps are on sale for 20% off and I charge exact shipping! I have twine for sale for $2.50 for 25 yards and free shipping!

Please leave a comment, today is your last chance. You could have 5 chances to win a prize from Unity! Every day I'll put your name in a jar and Saturday morning I'll have my girls draw a name and Unity and I will send you a prize! Morgan will pick a name for a prize from Unity and Carlee pick a name and I'll send you an assortment of Twine! Be sure to leave a way for me to reach you!

The New Unity Stamp Co Challenge!

Please excuse the interruption on my Growing in Unity week!  :)  But I HAD to get in on this challenge and you should to!  Read all about it HERE!
The only rule is you have to use {ippity} or Unity stamps!  This month you need to use hearts!
I used my January KOTM set.  I LOVE it!  The possibilities are endless!!    I used a Spellninder label die to cut out the embossed hearts and popped it up.  Can you believe how cute that ribbon is?  I bought 4 different roles over the weekend.  Hobby Lobby had it on sale for 50% off.  I paid $0.99 cents for 1-3 yards depending on the roll.  I have always been a lover of gingam!  Throw in a ruffle and it's even better right?  :)
Thanks for stopping by today!

Growing In Unity Day 4

Welcome to Day #4!  I apologize, but this fantastic set Sing A New Song is already sold out!  If you would like it I can order it on Saturday and I'll pay the shipping to send it to you because you have to wait so long.  I am not going to place my order until then because things keep selling out!  I am out of 6 sets already!
This was a fun card to make.  I love paper piecing Unity and {ippity} stamps!  It is so easy if you emboss all your images.  It makes cutting them out a breeze!  I love this border punch!  It is by Martha and it's called loopy I think.  I try to write the name of the punch on the punch itself but I didn't on this one.  I embossed the bird 3 times in Brownie, Red and Evergreen all American Crafts Zing EP.  I cut them out and layered them with pop dots!  I wrapped the Twine around a few times and I was done!  EASY!

All of the {ippity} stamps are on sale for 20% off and I charge exact shipping! I have twine for sale for $2.50 for 25 yards and free shipping!

I used one of my favorite {ippity} stamps from Love In Return.  I love the SU spiral punch, I thought it was great for a file folder card!  The pink strip is paper ribbon by K & Co.  It is like a sticker!  I couldn't believe it when I peeled off the back every little cut out was so clean!  The flowers are Prima and the brads are from my stash!

Growing In Unity Day 2

Hi!  How are you today???
For today I have a mini card to stick in a gift bag!  I used several different {ippity} stamp sets on this one. Book It is the background.  I used the flower from Now and Always I stamped it 3 times the largest on the Basic Grey paper is embossed so it stand out a little more.  I cut it out and layered it, easy as can be!  That little gem is from these fun color coordinated embellishment packs I pick up from Hobby Lobby.  I used the banner from Love In Return I embossed it and cut it out and then I stamped the Happy Birthday from How You Doin'?  [I seriously can't even type that without laughing and hearing Joey from Friends say that!]   The twine was white but I put it on my Chestnut Roan Chalk ink pad and smashed it down with my rub on tool until it was completely brown!  After it was dry I cut a slit in the card and wrapped it around a few times!

All of the {ippity} stamps are on sale for 20% off and I charge exact shipping!  I have twine for sale for $2.50 for 25 yards and free shipping!

Please leave a comment every day this week. That will be 5 chances to win a prize from Unity! Growing In Unity Day 1

I am so excited that it is my week to be featured!  I have been addicted to Unity stamps for almost 3 years now.  I've admitted it, I know that is the first step.  I just don't need any help or any recovery.  It's OK!  ;-)  Then they came up with {ippity} and my heart beat kicked up!  I ignored it as long as I could.  I tried very hard to convince myself that I didn't need anything else in my life.  Well, like any other good stamp addict  I caved and signed up as fast as my fingers could type!  I seriously LOVE these stamps!  They stamp perfectly EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!

They emboss so well!  I LOVE embossing and watching that powder melt and make perfect images!  I could do it all day long and never tire of it!
This card uses one of my favorite {ippity} sets,  Because of You!
It is also on sale for 20% off
The Rosettes were made by scoring strips of paper every 1/4" and folding them back and forth accordion style.  Tim Holtz put out a very cool die and has a smaller version coming.  The original is sold out every where all the time.  I can't wait to find it and OWN it!  The bling is from my friend Kim's stash and the ribbon is from Michael's.  My EP is American Crafts Zing in Brownie and I sprayed Chestnut Roan Glimmer Mist  in it and did a sloppy cut.  I like the look of a sloppy cut verses a label die occasionally.  :)

All of the {ippity} stamps are on sale for 20% off and I charge exact shipping! I have twine for sale for $2.50 for 25 yards and free shipping!

Skyler + Carlee = LOVE

This is my middle nephew Skyler.  I love him way more than he loves Carlee!  I just don't have a layout to prove it :)  I got the Cosmo chipboard letters free with my Unity Kit Of The Month January '11 To The Moon and Back! That is where the hearts came from.  I embossed them in Rangers Fire Brick and cut out the plus and the equals with just strips of paper!
I love both these kids To The Moon and Back so this layout worked out perfectly!  :)

Just A Swingin'!

My girls never liked to swing.  As an adult I can't swing it makes me sick.  When I have to push kids in a swing it makes me sick.  So the Reese girls aren't really  swingers! LOL

This is my all time favorite CuttleBug font Hippie Chick!  My very best boss in the world gave it to me when I left The Cropping Corner to have Carlee.  That awesome ticket is from a Unity set called Here's The Ticket.  I LOVE this set!

Happy Birthday To the BEST Sister In The World!

Today is my Sister's Birthday.  I love her like I love no other!  So I made her a card.
I used an {ippity} stamp set called Cuppy Cakes.  It's fun to cut out these cupcakes and embellish them!  I used lots of Stickles and Glossy Accents!  The alphabet stamps are by Autumn Leaves.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLA!!  I love you more than you know and feel like the luckiest girl in the world having you as my sister!

Books I read in January

Sara's Song by Fern Michaels - I didn't get to finish this one, I had to turn it back in but I have it again now and will finish it soon.  It's OK not fantastic.

Army Wives by  Tanya Biank - This is where the show came from.  I didn't like it.  It made me very sad because she used true Army stories.

Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah - I LOVED this book!  Also very sad but the journey of these sisters and their relationship with their Mom and what she had been through was amazing.  It is rare when a book actually makes me cry and I cried during this one!

The Spellman's Strike Again by  Lisa Lutz - I am glad this series is over.  I always read all the book in a series and this one could have ended earlier LOL

92 Pacific Blvd. by  Debbie Macomber - I am almost over this series too.  It seems like if a series gets too many books I can't stick with it.  I have the attention span of a gnat.  LOL

Crossroads by Fern Michaels - Another series I am just about over LOL  This is #18

Sins of The Flesh by  Fern Michaels - This was such a long book!  But I enjoyed it.
déjà vu by Fern Michaels  This is #19 and I still have one more to go!

So that's it!  For February I am doing murder and suspense.  I need to mix it up a little more LOL

Thanks for stopping by today!  :)

Week 2 of the {ippity} Hip Hop Challenge with a twist!

This week they added in the color combo!  The colors are red, black, white and aqua!
You can't really tell in the picture but every other house is popped up with pop-dots.  The banner is too.  Everything is embossed and covered in Glossy Accents and Stickles because that is how I roll.  :)  The plane and banner are from Unity KOM 10/09.  The houses are from {ippity} What Matters Most.
Do you ever cut your stamps apart to make them work better for your needs?  I do it all the time!  I thought these house were just a little too close together so didn't.  I just embossed it 3 times in red, black and aqua on white paper and cut them out.
Thanks for stopping by today!  :)

Life Is Too Short....

to be anything but HAPPY!  How true is this??  :)
This was for an {ippity} hip hop twist challenge last month.  I made the card just in time but never did a blog post on it!  This was a sketch and it definitely was out of my comfort zone.  Sometimes busy sketches are beyond what I can wrap my head around LOL  The sentiment is from Quotes A'La Happy by {ippity}.  The pattern paper is Basic Grey.  This single sheet of paper is the gift that just keeps giving LOL  I'll bet I have made 10 cards from a left over scrap page!  I used 2 different border punches and I messed up both.  I can NEVER line up my punches and it infuriates me LOL  I am a relatively intelligent girl.  Why I can't line up a border punch is beyond me.  LOL  Back to the punches the big circle are from a huge EK punch that I really do love!  The side one is a Fiskers.  That ribbon is my all time favorite I LOVE it!  It's from American Crafts.  The label is by Sizzix.  Label 4 I think.  I love it too!

Need a card in under 5 minutes?

Not a problem!  I grabbed a A7 Scallop Card from Creative Cuts and More.    I grabbed my Devoted by {ippity} stamp set and my Sahara Sand SU stamp pad.    Stamped the branch 4 times and cleaned it off.  Then I grabbed the sentiment from Just Wanted To Say and stamped it.  Cleaned it off and grabbed the ric-rac from my green ribbon jar.  I used a ruler to run a line of glue.  Put the ribbon it it, trimmed the edges and was finished!  Not my best work, but way less than a $5.00 Hallmark card and took less than 5 minutes!

Hippity Hop Twist Challenge for February 2011

Everyone likes a challenge right?  Check out this one HERE.  Here is my take!

I used my Coluzzle to cut those ovals!  It has been YEARS since I drug that out!  I am trying to use all the stuff in my room if I decide I don't like I am getting rid of it!  I loved all my Coluzzle stuff 8 years ago and I still love it!  So fast and easy!  The pattern paper is Basic Grey I love it!  Blush I think!  The stamps are ippity.  I LOVE {ippity}!  The sentiment is from So This Is Love and the hearts are from House A Home!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out the challenge!  It's got a twist!  Next week they will throw in a color combo.  Then an inspiration photo then the final week a final twist!

Lots of twine for sale :)

Do you love twine?  I know I do.  I have a lot of it for sale!  Each bundle is 25 yards and $2.50.  I'll pay the shipping for all orders within the US!  For international orders I'll need to weigh it and see what it will cost!  :)
This is 3-ply brown and white twine.  It's thinner than the rest and perfect for making a knot in buttons!
This is 4-ply lime green and white twine.
This is 4-ply red and white twine.
This is 4-ply brown and white twine.
This is 8-ply white cotton twine!  You can use ink, Glimmer Mist really just about anything to make it any color you want it to be!

This is 3 ply-green and white twine.
This is 3-ply blue and white twine.
This is 25 yards of all 7 colors above!  Instead of $17.50, right now it is on sale for $16.00!  That is a whole bunch of twine!
This is exactly how you will receive it.  I thought about cute tags and things but that would bring the cost up.  A lot of us redo things to store it and throw away the packaging.  So I thought cute for this was not necessary!  :)
My email and paypal address are noellereese@q.com You can send me an email letting me know what you would like and I'll invoice you through Paypal, or just paypal me the payment and let me know in the comment section.
