My sister is a Rock Star!

She can totally make a card with anything you hand her!  I am not kidding!  Generally I need a plan of some sort.  Like, what I need a card for, or an {ippity} set I would like to sell, or a challenge!  Not my Sister!  I can pile 2 shoe boxes and 2 totes of stuff and say here is what I brought, let's make cards.

Friends With Flair Friday!

I have a pen-pal.  A good old fashion pen-pal!  So I need a lot of room to write.  [My handwriting is HUGE!]  So this card is legal envelope size!  So fun to make!

Over Thanksgiving I got to make cards with my sister and her sister-in-law.  We had so much fun.  I cut the images out of a sheet of 5 & Dime by October Afternoon.  The gems were from Michael's Black Friday sale which we braved.  There were 50% off and we had a 20% off coupon!  SCORE!

I made my own laundry soap!

My very cool sister taught me how!

It cut pretty easily.

However it broke my Cuisinart!  DANGIT! 

So I chopped up the rest of the bar, that was no fun!

Then I grated the next bar and broke the handle off my grater.  DANGIT!

The pieces seems so big.  Would they disolve in the water?

So I used the little side. 

Good Golly I grated for an hour! 

I kept dumping it in the bucket! 

Then I shook it up!

Our clothes smell like heaven on earth.

It is 8.5¢ A LOAD!!  My sister made it and gave some to her Mother in law and to me and she has a family of 4 sometimes 5 and her batch lasted her for FOUR MONTHS!

How cute is that?  Terry kicked it up a notch [or 3] and made add-ons!! 

The Ultimate Deluxe Kit is AWESOME!!  I have a HUGE pile of it on my desk!  I will have the greatest Christmas album  for my coffee table!  I am sad my start is so slow.  I picked up my kit on Sunday and I have been working too much.  I promise there is WAY more of this to come!  This is a very small start!

When I get my pictures back from Christmas this is going to be so fun on my coffee table! 

The ribbon and the album rings are not part of the kits.  I added those. 

I am adding pictures and recipes to this album. 

I amused myself making this page that I cut in half.  I thought the Gingerbread man serving Sugar Cookies was funny. 

The back side of the half page has stickles drying as I type.  These die cut sugar cookies are so cute!

Challenges, LOL

They call them that for a reason right?  LOL

I did one for dry embossing a long time ago but I put the paper in the embossing folder upside down so I set that to the side for another card.

My sister is an A Muse Studio Consultant and I try very hard to play in their challenges.  But I am always late.  This week Carla is challenging us to dry emboss.  SCORE!  Previously it was twine and before that it was buttons.  So I did them all in one card!  AND I didn't stamp!  *GASP*  Who DOES that?

 Each and every one of you should go play!  If you win, Carla will send you two catalogs!  She will also spoil you with extra stuff!  That is how she rolls and I love her like no other!

I am totally throwing in the towel on challenges!

I like to pretend I am a reasonable intelligent girl.  I can do just about anything most people can.  Right?  EXCEPT a challenge LOL  This fantastic Unity KIT OF THE MONTH SKETCH CHALLENGE has been on my desk for a month!  I finally made it last night so happy I still had 24 hours to skid on over to the blog and link it up!  Naturally the day got away, work, Halloween, etc.  I come barreling back here to snap a quick picture and do a blog post.  Easy as pie right?  I save the sketch to the computer so I can show the sketch like a good blogger.  That was when I noticed I used  {IPPITY} stamps!  LOL  One tiny little rule and I can't get it done LOL

Now, keep in mind with the Unity order I got on Saturday, I completed my mission!  I have all of the Unity KOM kits!  June of 2008 through October 2011  That took a very long time.  One would think I could have grabbed a KOM since I have a few.  Nope.  I spaced the entire challenge and happily made the sketch  LOL 

Here it is,  it all it's glory.  Just a sketch with some DARLING {ippity} stamps, New Season, New Wonder.  LOL  Maybe I'll try again in November!  LOL  The prize is huge!  Check it out!  Try to remember to use a KIT OF THE MONTH!  It is the rule!  LOL

Carlee was so excited to Trick-or-Treat all day long!  The big girls were going to do their thing and Bryan and I were going to take Carlee and all of a sudden she screamed she was not trick-or-treating!  She might be Little, but that one is MIGHTY!  We did not trick-or-treat!
