Today we are all about Christmas and Thanksgiving or Fall! I hope you arrived here from The Scrap-a-Teeny blog! Isn't Kim's work amazing? If you didn't please head over to the start of the hop! I'd hate for you to miss anything! Please excuse the vintage look of all my pictures today. The baby had a fine time with all the buttons on the Rebel and this is what I get now. :) She knows the Santa stamp from Ink-a-Dink-a-Do is vintage-y so she fixed the camera. :)
I LOVE the Filigree labels. You can get them in squares, or rectangles! You can get them in albums or cards! Or just the shapes like I did! I cut My Mind's Eye paper into 1" squares and ran them through my X-Box Zyron. I put them really close and even over-lapping on printer paper. Then I took them over to Creative Cuts and had them cut. I also had them cut in Jupiter Stardream for the cards I covered with the squares.
I love the A2 cards. I love using them both ways.
Naturally I had to put them all in a Card Portfolio so I have a perfect give ready to give away! I didn't say Merry Christmas on them. Santa says Thank You too, don't you know? :)
Then I made a Box Basket with Handle! It was SUPER easy to score and assemble with brads! No adhesive was needed! I alternated mini brads with star brads. Then I poked a star brad through the ribbon and the handle and attached it. It was that easy and it took about 5 minutes. These will be place settings on my Christmas table filled with red and green MnM's!
For my 3rd and final Christmas project I made an angel ornament for each of my girls. I had the angel cut in chipboard and vellum. These are double sided. So for each one you need 2 in chipboard and 2 in vellum. $1.00 for an ornament! I painted my chipboard silver with Making Memories paint. I used 3 coats and then only attached the body of the angel. I cut the vellum head part off and creased the wings. Then I put a loop of ribbon in between and glued the chipboard together. SUPER easy and FUN to make!
Thanks so much for hoppin' by today!
