Thank You!

I follow Kristina Werner. I LOVE her handwriting. I almost feel it is unfair how cool some people can write while others of us write like chicken scratch in the dirt LOL I also love her card ideas! She does a card class series over at 2Peas and I like those too. I thought this one would be super simple because I needed 3 cards and quick. She punches out these circles and slaps them on to make a darling border. Well I did it too. About 55 million times and I still could not get them even like she does. LOL
So I have decided I have thousands of dollars invested in my Cricut. I will make my scalloped squares with that from this day forward LOL I can't write as pretty and Kristina can nor can I align my circles like she can! LOL

Head on over to 2Peas and take a look at this months cute cards! Allow some extra time for that circle border though LOL

Fiskars Continuous Stamp Wheel

I NEVER EVER buy stuff when it first hits the market. I don't know why I just don't. I will buy stamps, dies, ink, paper etc. but never tools. I know why now. I bought this wheel thing yesterday and right on the package it says Mess Free, what a joke! I even had ink on my forehead that I had to wash off while brushing my teeth. Now that was not Fiskars fault. I put my hand on my forehead it was my fault. However both my hands and the ink cartridge and the roller itself got inked. This is not mess free in my opinion. I'll try it again later today but I think I will be returning this little gem. I got it on sale for $9.00, not really worth it.........
I have never returned a used item before in the scrapbook world. I'll probably throw it in the drawer with the Basic Grey Notch tool and the Making Memories Grommet Setter LOL I really thought this was going to make such cute scrapbook borders too! Maybe it's operator error! LOL I'll bring it to the weekend crop and see if my peeps can do it LOL
Look at all the cute stamps it has too! I have never ordered from Scrapbooking Warehouse before it was the first that came up when I googled it. I can tell you The Cropping Corner will not be carrying this LOL

The books I have been reading

I am listening to Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert right now. I am liking it but not too far in yet.

So far in August, I have finished:

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niefenegger, I liked this book but I was so confused most of the time. LOL I can't wait to see the movie so I can get it better LOL

Breaking The Rules By Barbara Taylor Bradford, it was OK, nothing to write home or on your blog about. LOL

Bittersweet Rain by Sandra Brown, I liked this book. The main male character made me LOL more than once LOL

Hollywood Tough by Steven J. Cannell I loved this book. I like all his books actually!

74 Seaside Avenue by Debbie Macomber this was OK she is too tame for me LOL

I have listened to all of the above. I am actually reading I Just Want You To Know by Kate Gosselin. It is painful to get through. She is so different in her books than she is on the shows. She is VERY religious, but I have never seen them even go to church on the show LOL She loves her kids like I love mine, I don't doubt that. But I don't like the complaining about the paparazzi etc. She chose to lead this life and do the show. Sure sextuplets are interesting and people would still stare etc, but it seems to me they have a pretty good life because of the show. Right? No??

I am also reading Troublemaker by Janet Evonovich. It is a comic book so I am having a hard time really getting into it.

What are you reading??

Thanks for stopping by today! And because I think every post needs a cute picture I'll leave you with this:
This is Morgan when she was Carlee's age. TOOT TOOT!!! HONK HONK!!!!!!!!! I make the cutest babies! I'm just sayin' :-) [tootin' my own horn]

What we do 'round here!

A whole lot of laying around..........3 of my 4 girls just laying around........It is exhausting doing all that laying around, so they nap too........... I want you guys to understand how large Sassy is. My sister thinks she is a Main Coon. That is a DVD on her belly. She is longer than Carlee LOL She is wider than Carlee too. I'm not throwing stones, I'm just sayin'! She is the biggest cat I have ever seen! Her fur is like silk, she is so fluffy and soft we can't stop hugging her. She hugs back too. She puts her paws around your neck and rubs her face on both sides of your face and she buries her face in our hair. She is so sweet!
Cali is Morgan's cat and she tolerates the rest of us. She really does love Carlee when Carlee is asleep. She never stops meowing unless Morgan holds her or we get lucky and she sleeps. I have been known to tip toe around the house as quiet as I can so I don't wake her while Morgan is at school because I can't stand the meowing. I have also been known to chase her around the house with my flip flop threatening to send her to go meet Jesus! LOL
Tomorrow is officially the last day of summer, no more laying around I guess. LOL
Maybe we will scrabook all day instead. :-)

Welcome to CC & M's Baby and Bridal Shower Blog Hop!

Hi Hoppers! Welcome to our August Blog Hop!! I hope you have arrived via The Die Cut Diva Blog! Kim and Joan are fantastic don't you think? It's not easy following them. :-) I picked the Diaper Card for the invitation. The cream rectangle I added. I wanted it to be a pocket card. Here it is slid out.I used the Tuck Top Cube Box with Layer to make some blocks for the table. I added the second layer so I could use the sugar cookie color as well. These boxes are so quick to put together, no adhesive is required!

I love that you can stack them too! I put the letters on all the sides so you can roll them and they still spell baby [with a little arranging]! LOL This Peek-a-View Box makes the perfect gift 'bag'. I rolled up a 6-9 month size dress and it fit in perfectly! You can't see it in the picture but there is a strip of lace on the edge of the dress that matches the Bazzil princess Criss Cross paper I used! CC & M has so many colors to choose from! You can match everything! I needed something cute to hold the pins for the games. I happen to be obsessed with the French Fry Box! It is so easy to put together you just need a tiny bit of Killer Red Tacky Tape and can hold just about anything. The ric-rac and flowers I used to decorate it are NEW dies that will be on the site soon! Consider this a teaser! :-) There are a lot of new dies coming every week! The guests all got to take home a candy box! I didn't put candy in them though. I put in a Burts Bee Chapstick! I finished up with a Thank You card! I popped up every other letter to give it some dimension. There is that ric rac die again, don't you LOVE it??
Now it's time to hop on over to Lisa's Blog! Be prepared to be amazed! Her work is always fantastic!
Be sure to leave a comment at the end of the hop! There is a prize! It's a two-tier cake! They are super fun to decorate and easy to put together! Then if you place an order, you can get 20% off by using the coupon code: babybridalhop20 HAPPY SHOPPING!!!!!!
Thanks for hopping by today! I had so much fun making all these baby shower things!

I love my husband!

He is so stinkin' cute I can hardly stand it. One of the things I love best about him is the way he plays with the girls. I am 3 years behind in Morgan's album so here he was playing with only Morgan. We were laughing so hard she could hardly take the pictures!
He was making fun of me for keeping the place too cold to save on the power bill. He had to go get his Elmer Fudd hat to keep warm. So those of you that know him can see how this escalated into a fun layout LOL The rabbit stamps are dollar stamps by Studio G. I love this one because Bryan never eats sweets! EXCEPT Pumpkin Pie on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Then he eats the whole pie and for breakfast LOL I put it in his lunch and he always calls when he is finished eating, telling me how much he loves me LOL If I thought he would eat it every day I would bake them more often but he won't. LOL He just like them over the holidays!
The font is QK Blossom I think and the pie and slice of pie are their dies. I am 99% sure the paper is MME. I really can't scrap without MME LOL
Thanks for stopping by, maybe the next time I work on Morgan's album she will be in the pictures LOL
