So I have time to play in Friends with Flair!  WHOOP!!  There might be beer involved too  LOL

I made this card for a lady I work out with at Curves.  She gave me a bag of their breakfast drink powder and saved me $20.00 how nice was that?? 

The scalloped oval is from Spellbinders.  I love their dies almost as much as I love Unity stamps!

That darling table scene is from Spirit of Summertime.  Being a member of KOM is my birthday present every year.  BEST GIFT EVER!!  My DH LOVES it too because he never has any pressure!  LOL  Our anniversary is 3 days before my birthday so SMAK covers that too!  LOL  The clouds are from No Matter what the Weather.

Inside I used one of my all time favorite Thanks sentiments.  Look at the POLKA DOTS!  Is that not the cutest font ever?  I use it every chance I get.  It is from Delight in Beauty!

PS  I did not tell her I love you  LOL  I said I love the shakes!  They are really YUMMY!  Maybe next time I will remember to take a picture before I scribble all over it LOL

Oh how I love Friday's!

Not only are they for Friends with Flair but it means we get to sleep in tomorrow!  YIPPEE!!!!

I have declared a pajama day!  I have been sick and I NEED it!

I made 6 of these to sell at the Chocolate Shop, quick and easy makes me happy.  That is what I love about Unity.  All of their stamps fit every need I have.  I got the heart from one of my favorite SMAK kits …without YOU what would I DO?  The I love u is AWESOME I love that it isn't perfect.  I found it in Love Bug.  I think that is one of the first Unity sets I fell in love with.  Some day I am going to drive a little Bug around town!

OK, back to FWF I am  going to show you last months challenge which I finished about 35 minutes after the linky thing closed LOL  I made it for the card sketch and new I wouldn't make it for the layout but thought I might be close LOL

Be Inspired

HI GUYS!!!! My blog is fixed!!!! I just tried to upload this card and look there is it! YIPPEE!!!!

Now let's see if it stays there LOL My last post was a Friends With Flair and most people got to see it then the picture just went away and people had to guess what the card looked like from my description LOL

Have you guys seen the new

Unity be inspired Challenge? It is FANTASTIC! There is a card sketch, a layout sketch AND a color inspiration picture. I loved it so much I made it my background picture on my desk top!

I am not going to try to put the sketches in this post and push my luck LOL You can see them if you click on the challenge. :)

I had a blast last night making this. It has been so long since I made a card. I have been cataloging my stamps and my friend Terry's stamps. So I still get to stamp every night but I sure have missed making cards and scrapbooking! I used so many Unity stamps on this there were stamps everywhere! That is my kinds mess! :) The cupcake is a this wood one called Have A Heart Cupcake.

The 3 hearts journaling block is from SMAK Love Story clips 12/12 I just cut it up after I embossed it. The banner is SMAK cre-ate 07/12 and I embossed it with my Swiss Dots CuttleBug folder. The thank you is from Ornate Artisan Stackers and the back ground is from KOM All Hearts and Love 01/13!

Well my blog just made the picture enormous and added spaces to make new paragraphs where they don't belong.  There is no telling what this is going to look like when I publish it LOL  I thought blogging was supposed to be fun??  HA!

WCMD Challenge #1

Lisa started off the fun day with a SHAPE CARD challenge, hurry come and join us!  We have until Saturday the 20th at midnight CST! [That is Minnesota time, 11 PM Colorado time if you ever get confused on occasion like me LOL]

I used a Standing Pop-Up Card from Creative Cuts and More.

The awesome banners are from MLS Banner Moment, oh how I love a good banner!!  I embossed the You're So Fun from  the 10/12 SMAK kit – {…track this, graph that}

The balloons are from Whimsical Birthday sadly it is retired.

I pester poor Ang and Andrea all the time to bring back the oldies.  There are some hunting sets and some beach sets I REALLY want and can't find them anywhere!!  I hope one day [when my checking account is full unlike today 1 day before payday LOL] they do an oldie release.  I might need to take a second mortgage out on the house!  LOL  I'm kidding, sorta LOL

OK I have 4 of the 8 done! I best get to scrappin'!  Bryan comes home from his hunting trip today, so no more single Mom for this Mama!  I will get some serious scrapping time!  YAHOOOOO!!

WCMD Challenge # 2 with UNITY!

Thienly had us use TEXTURE! I love texture! All sorts of texture and adding a bunch to one card makes me stinkin' HAPPY! LOL

I started with crimping the pattern paper and I am sorry but I have no idea who made it.  I never got rid of my crimper from 1996 [hoarder] I love running paper through it LOL  It makes me happy to see it come out wrinkled and it is a must for sour cream containers! Which I will be making all the time once Carlee starts school. 

I stamped the pennant from My Point of View {SMAK August 2012} on cardstock and then muslin I embossed the circle sentiment and the banner from the same SMAK kit.  The ribbon is from my stash and silk.  I am 99% sure it is Creative Impressions. 

I popped everything up for a little more dimension and called it good.  The thanks is from Lollipop Tree You & Me, such a darling set, I have to show you.

Growing In Unity Day 2!!

We LOVE Uncle D!  He moved here when Carlee was almost 6 weeks old.  I remember the first day he arrived and asked if we just had the one cat [Cali gets on people, they know we have her immediately].  I said No, we have 2 but you will never see Sassy she is so shy.  About 5 minutes later Sassy was out and rubbing on him!  Even the cats love him!  LOL

 

I LOVE SMAK!!  I reach for my SMAK kits every time I make a page!  This one uses January's without YOU what would I DO?

 I embossed Urban Chevron in white on brown cardstock and then cut the letters using Roxy by Quickutz.  The D is popped up a little because I glued 3 D's together.

I LOVE scrapping this baby!

I started with the heart that I LOVE from the March SMAK kit True Story.  But I simply could let leave out a single picture.  I LOVE them all so I piled them ALL on and decided anyone who looked at the album I would tell them the red there, those are very cool hearts!  LOL

SMAK is my favorite monthly kit!  I LOVE KOM too but SMAK had me at Hello, the stamps call out to me while i try to sleep  LOL  I plan my next layout in my head around the stamps LOL

I need to tell you a thing or two about my Carlee Rae!  She turned 4 in October.  EVERY single day since these pictures were taken [12 16 07] she has been in my lap.  This one is a snuggler!  She no longer screams every time you put her down just some times LOL

I love these girls too!  They definitely have a Special Love.  Weird, that 4 years later they can fight like cats and dogs isn't it?  LOL
