Chick Challenge #3!! Already???!!!

This is my favorite sketch so far!  As soon as I saw it I sat down and made it!

I used some old style {ippity} and it was fun!  I seem to always be reaching for the newer {ippity}, not this time!  The flower is from Because Of You and the sentiment is from Just Wanted To Say. 

Excuse my poor cutting job.  I pretty much cut like I am using safety scissors or something LOL  Can you see the detail in the embossing?  I am telling you Peeps, these stamps are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!  They stamp perfectly every single time!  They emboss beautifully and they are so fantastic it doesn't matter what you can't do well, like cutting.  Whoever gets the card can't get over the stamps and they just don't notice!  LOL

I am slightly addicted to this Waterfall Card Set from CC&M  LOL 

I stamped on every surface I could get my hands on  LOL  I embossed the mushrooms and the quote.  They are both from Because of You. 

I stamped the front of the kraft squares with Thoughts From The Past.  I stamped the back with Dots For Sure.  I sprayed the white squares with Glimmer Mist.  Then I embossed the mushrooms right on top of it!  I had never done that before and I wondered if the embossing powder would stick all over and it didn't!  It worked just fine.  The flowers are from A Moment In Time. 

This is my favorite {ippity} quote because I have a ton of Peeps in my life that make good times great times!  But I also really love the butterflies thrown in there!  Super cute!

Growing In Unity Day 1

I am so excited that it is my week to be featured!  I have been addicted to Unity stamps for almost 3 years now.  I've admitted it, I know that is the first step.  I just don't need any help or any recovery.  It's OK!  ;-)  Then they came up with {ippity} and my heart beat kicked up!  I ignored it as long as I could.  I tried very hard to convince myself that I didn't need anything else in my life.  Well, like any other good stamp addict  I caved and signed up as fast as my fingers could type!  I seriously LOVE these stamps!  They stamp perfectly EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!

They emboss so well!  I LOVE embossing and watching that powder melt and make perfect images!  I could do it all day long and never tire of it!

The Rosettes were made by scoring strips of paper every 1/4" and folding them back and forth accordion style.  Tim Holtz put out a very cool die and has a smaller version coming.  The original is sold out every where all the time.  I can't wait to find it and OWN it!  The bling is from my friend Kim's stash and the ribbon is from Michael's.  My EP is American Crafts Zing in Brownie and I sprayed Chestnut Roan Glimmer Mist  in it and did a sloppy cut.  I like the look of a sloppy cut verses a label die occasionally.  :)

I really like the A7 Scallop Card from Creative Cuts and More!  It makes a quick but cute card!  I used {ippity} stamps Because of You!  One of my favorites!  I think the pattern paper is My Mind's Eye but I', not sure of that.  The ribbon is Martha Stewart and SO pretty!  The EP is American Crafts Zing in Brownie!

Welcome to our January Blog Hop!

Our theme is Valentines Day!  I hope you arrived here from Robin's Blog!  Isn't her work AWESOME?  If you didn't, you should head over to the START of the hop so you don't miss any of our amazing designers!

My 3 year old wanted me to throw away a Groovy Girl outfit because it was torn.  As I was dropping it in the trash I decided I loved that sash.  Have you ever followed the New Dress A Day Blog?  She inspires me!  So I ripped it off and thought I am going to make a card with THAT!  And off I went.   I really love this A7 Scallop Card! The stamp is an {ippity} set called Straight From The Heart.  I embossed it with American Crafts Brownie EP.  Then I smeared Stickles all over it because

I love bling!

I added this Heart Pop-Up Insert for a little bonus!  I used more Stickles and the sentiment is also from Straight From The Heart.

I love the Gable Box - Tall!  There is so much room to decorate!  I made a little pocket and used my Corner Chomper to decorate the corners.  My fantastic scrappin' buddy Becky gave me a whole sheet of Valentine's tickets to use!  The 'stitching' is a stamp from {ippity}'s Quotes A'La Happy embossed in Stampendous' red metallic EP!

Then last, but certainly not least I used a A2 Card and on some plain white squares I stamped the Love stamp from Because of You also by {ippity} I inked the edges with Chestnut Roan ColorBox Chalk Ink and tied a ribbon from my stash on.  Then I had 3 Heart # 1 - Small's cut in tacky tape.  I peeled off one side and dunked it in Doodlebug's Sugar Coating Glitter then stuck them on the squares.

Simple Little Card Sets!

I had a scrap of the pattern paper from an old layout.  From YEARS ago.  It is My Mind's Eye and I must use every scrap I own because they are my all time favorite!  So I thought I would see how many cards I could get from the scrap.

 The mushrooms are {ippity} stamps from the Because of You set.   The sentiment is also {ippity} from the Just Wanted To Say set.  I embossed the mushrooms with American Crafts Brownie EP.  The ink is Colorbox Chalk in Chestnut Roan my all time favorite pad!  The ribbon is by Martha Stewart.

 The butterfly stamp is from another {ippity} set called Devoted.  I embossed it with AC Brownie EP and cut it out.  It is only attached  with a thin line of glue on the body.  The wings are folded up, you just can't tell in the picture.  The sentiment is from Regal Greetings.

My Mom always taught me to never tell a lie.  This card is a complete screw up that turned out better in the end I think  LOL  I tried to cut this scrap in 3 equal parts.  Well once I messed up the first cut I decided to make do and make each panel a little smaller and I actually like it LOL  Then I decided NOT to ink all the edges and that is OK too.  I do love inking everything up much better but on occasion I go for clean and simple!  That is the same butterfly and this sentiment is one of my favorites from Where You Should Be!
