Friends With Flair

I always get so motivated when I look at all the fantastic things made for Friends With Flair on Friday's over at the Unity Blog!
My sister and I are doing some craft fairs this summer!  I'll be selling my {ippity} stamps but we thought cards might sell too.  So I decided to make up a few sets.  That weird little piece sticking out is my business card.  My DH left this AM for Oklahoma and I sent him with my Canon so he could take pictures of everything so I don't miss anything.  :)  I wish I had noticed the card sticking out before I sent my camera off for 4 days! LOL  I made 5 cards, 4 for a set and one to send.
Just Wanted to Say is one of my favorite sets.  Those frames emboss perfectly every single time!  I LOVE them!  They are so easy to cut out.  There is a saying for everything and I think that makes this a perfect set!  To celebrate the holiday, it's on sale this weekend for 10% off.  That makes it only $16.20, until Tuesday!  I'll pay the shipping and send you some twine!  :)
Devoted is another great set!  I love butterflies and hearts and the sayings are very sweet!
It too, is on sale for 10% off until Tuesday.  That makes it $21.60, also free shipping and free twine!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a fantastic holiday weekend!

Need a card in under 5 minutes?

Not a problem!  I grabbed a A7 Scallop Card from Creative Cuts and More.    I grabbed my Devoted by {ippity} stamp set and my Sahara Sand SU stamp pad.    Stamped the branch 4 times and cleaned it off.  Then I grabbed the sentiment from Just Wanted To Say and stamped it.  Cleaned it off and grabbed the ric-rac from my green ribbon jar.  I used a ruler to run a line of glue.  Put the ribbon it it, trimmed the edges and was finished!  Not my best work, but way less than a $5.00 Hallmark card and took less than 5 minutes!

Thanks for stopping by today!

One Day At A Time!

Things really don't seem so bad if you just look at it like it's one day.  We can all deal with one day at a time right?

I love these {ippity} stamp sets.  I love to mix them up!  The sentiment is from What Matters Most and the cute House is from Devoted.  I embossed everything in Black powder by Ranger and covered everything else in Stickles!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Simple Little Card Sets!

I had a scrap of the pattern paper from an old layout.  From YEARS ago.  It is My Mind's Eye and I must use every scrap I own because they are my all time favorite!  So I thought I would see how many cards I could get from the scrap.
The mushrooms are {ippity} stamps from the Because of You set.   The sentiment is also {ippity} from the Just Wanted To Say set.  I embossed the mushrooms with American Crafts Brownie EP.  The ink is Colorbox Chalk in Chestnut Roan my all time favorite pad!  The ribbon is by Martha Stewart.
The butterfly stamp is from another {ippity} set called Devoted.  I embossed it with AC Brownie EP and cut it out.  It is only attached  with a thin line of glue on the body.  The wings are folded up, you just can't tell in the picture.  The sentiment is from Regal Greetings.
My Mom always taught me to never tell a lie.  This card is a complete screw up that turned out better in the end I think  LOL  I tried to cut this scrap in 3 equal parts.  Well once I messed up the first cut I decided to make do and make each panel a little smaller and I actually like it LOL  Then I decided NOT to ink all the edges and that is OK too.  I do love inking everything up much better but on occasion I go for clean and simple!  That is the same butterfly and this sentiment is one of my favorites from Where You Should Be

Thanks for stopping by today.  Be sure to check out all the stamps for sale on my {ippity} blog!  Everything is 20% off and I'll pay your shipping today!  Have a great day!
