Hi! As I type this I think to myself in 4 years she will be 8 and I will be gushing over how yummy she was at 4! For now, LOL I am gushing over how sweet she was at just under 2 months!

My children fight sleep. They both do every day and have for their entire lives!

On occasion one of them would let me put them down long enough to take pictures of them falling asleep. Maybe the 47 million kisses I gave them interfered, who knows......

I cut out Sweetheart with a quickutz font and ran it through my CuttleBug with my Swiss Dots folder. Then I put Stickles on the dots. The butterflies are from a clearance punch I got at Michael's in the jewelry department. It's by Jolees's! I didn't know the jewelry makers were using punches!! I still have not bought Tim's die, I scored the flower myself and I am getting that die SOON! The gems are from my stash they are so tiny you can't hardly pick them up!

There are only about 6 more pages in Carlee's album then it is back to Morgan's. I think she is 8, I can't wait, she is beautiful now at 14. At 8 she was so yummy you are not going to believe that darling little freckle face!

Her hair is tucked into her robe, it's halfway down her back now and as curly as mine!

When she jumps down she has mastered the Ninja thing.... LOL

I bought her that Tinkerbell robe and now you have to give her a bath as often as you can and she loves to lounge in it LOL

Something old, all of this ribbon and binding came from the GoodWill in super old packaging that also smelled very old LOL So it has been airing out for about a year.

Rona was being funny and said we should put a penny in our shoe while we made our project. I thought I would add it in the card for the next person to get married that I know LOL I stuck it on the sticky and covered it with a glue dot!

It doubles for dimension! LOL I love it!

Do you love them? Really dislike them?

About 14 years ago I began collecting them. I used them on every page for YEARS! I had over a 1000 of them. I even had a little punchies website with my pal Ang!

Well today, I have such weak wrists I can't really even write legibly anymore LOL

However I still know how to work a punch, well I might add without trying to toot my own horn!

Except these two gems I got on clearance when I returned a bunch of stuff I didn't use for all the baby cards I posted yesterday.

EK calls this a Dimensional Punch Carnation.

Isn't that flower pretty?

Mine look like something the cat drug in!

I did master the dimensional part though! What would one use this on?

I can READ! I did what they said only I wrapped it around a tiny little needle thing to try to make the hole in the middle smaller. Didn't really help right?

OK, onto punch #2. Martha Stewart made this one!

It is called Embossed Petals! What does that mean?

That maybe the super cute flower would be embossed around the holes and above the scallops?

Oh, you can't SEE the flowers? That is not my poor photography skills and not even my very weak hands. I have some serious junk in my trunk and I STOOD on the punch.

So....please tell me how YOU use these lovely little punches. I seem to be a wee bit challenged with these two!

Baby Shower invites!

Our niece is having a baby!

A GIRL!

So I made her some baby shower invites!

I used a Studio G stamp for the carriage and a Hero Arts for the sentiment. The embossing folder is a CB one swiss dots?? All of the card stock and ribbon is from Michael's. I used a strangers CM circle punch at a crop LOL The scallop circle is a Spellbinder. I just cut the rectangle and corner punches the corners [Thank you Becky!]

Now let's talk about crops. Don't you love how any one will share with you? I was really behind at work and in such a rush. I forgot the circle punch she was so nice to lend it to me. I forgot my scissors for goodness sake! BFF shared hers with me LOL

We all survived, cards finished, 41 total. You will see a lot more layouts from this kid. LOL

I used a baby card Harmony loved on SCS as a sketch, I am sad to say I threw the print out away and have now forgotten who made it, but she does fabulous work!

Do you ever just make your own embellishments?

I do and I love it because you get to decide exactly how to do it.

And, maybe because it makes me think of something other than how many times I tortured the baby the first year of her life. BOTH of my girls screamed bloody murder in the tub! As you can see Carlee hated the kitchen sink too. I tried every sponge to lay her on, every sink in the house you name it. Now at 4 I can't get this one out of the tub! LOL

Try not to join Carlee and cry like I did every. single. time. I bet I can give a baby a bath faster than any of you. LOL Look at the tag not the screaming baby. LOL I loved the store bought polka dot duck. with the beads. I have no idea who made it or where I got it. It was the last thing left just stuck to some plastic. Probably MAMBI?? I wanted something to journal on, bit how many times can I say Carlee hated baths. So I wrote down Boo for Baths! Then cut it into a banner just by hand it's not a die or anything. These white tags came in a Marta Stewart stamps set so I grabbed my Dots For Sure and stamped it on. I didn't even emboss it. [*GASP*] Slapped on a chipboard duck from ATD, grabbed a scrap of a ribbon and a button and slapped it on the page.

If I could start all over I would buy WAY less embellishments and way more stamps!

The GREATEST people on earth and every day I brought another small plastic tub or tote of 'stuff' With VERY little to create she made this beautiful card! She LOVED the flourish in Warm Wishes. You can't really see it well but she stamped all over the kraft paper with it and it looks FANTASTIC! Even the inside of the card. Nora Anne who I LOVE RAK'ed me with the fantastic fabric tape. My very cool sister taught me how!

It cut pretty easily.

However it broke my Cuisinart! DANGIT!

So I chopped up the rest of the bar, that was no fun!

Then I grated the next bar and broke the handle off my grater. DANGIT!

The pieces seems so big. Would they disolve in the water?

So I used the little side.

Good Golly I grated for an hour!

I kept dumping it in the bucket!

Then I shook it up!

Our clothes smell like heaven on earth.

They call them that for a reason right? LOL

I did one for dry embossing a long time ago but I put the paper in the embossing folder upside down so I set that to the side for another card.

My sister is an A Muse Studio Consultant and I try very hard to play in their challenges. But I am always late. This week Carla is challenging us to dry emboss. SCORE! Previously it was twine and before that it was buttons. So I did them all in one card! AND I didn't stamp! *GASP* Who DOES that?

I like to pretend I am a reasonable intelligent girl. I can do just about anything most people can. Right? EXCEPT a challenge LOL This fantastic Unity KIT OF THE MONTH SKETCH CHALLENGE has been on my desk for a month! I finally made it last night so happy I still had 24 hours to skid on over to the blog and link it up! Naturally the day got away, work, Halloween, etc. I come barreling back here to snap a quick picture and do a blog post. Easy as pie right? I save the sketch to the computer so I can show the sketch like a good blogger. That was when I noticed I used {IPPITY} stamps! LOL One tiny little rule and I can't get it done LOL

Now, keep in mind with the Unity order I got on Saturday, I completed my mission! I have all of the Unity KOM kits! June of 2008 through October 2011 That took a very long time. One would think I could have grabbed a KOM since I have a few. Nope. I spaced the entire challenge and happily made the sketch LOL

Here it is, it all it's glory. Just a sketch with some DARLING {ippity} stamps, New Season, New Wonder. LOL Maybe I'll try again in November! LOL The prize is huge! Check it out! Try to remember to use a KIT OF THE MONTH! It is the rule! LOL

On Sunday we took her to Chuck E Cheese!

That place is so loud even the kids can't stand it LOL It's not kid loud, it's music loud and all the adults have to shout to hear each other!

First, I live in Colorado and winter is here. DANGIT! LOL

Second, I stay up as late as I can. I get an hour or two just for me if I stay up late.

That may or may not be over rated. LOL I also love sleeping in! Most days I hit the floor running. I have to make Bryan's breakfast, lunch and dinner because he works so many hours and pack it in a cooler. I always make Morgan's lunch. She will not buy.

I actually do this happily! My teeth are clean and I get 'er done! LOL

But then at 7:20 on a regular day Bryan takes Morgan to school. I pour my first cup of coffee while the garage door closes and head down to read my mail and then get to work.

Today.

That. Did. Not.

HAPPEN!

There was the LOUDEST noise! I can't even tell you the noise, one day you will have to hear it yourself. It was so loud and so fast I let out a yell. Not even a dirty word and jumped and the coffee in my hand left the mug and landed right back in it. LOL

This 'branch' is bigger than a tree at the park. It just fell off. The branch is 10+ inches in diameter.

Can you see the POWER LINE under it?? Obviously we still have power. LOL So we are on the list behind everyone else. We just can't go in the back yard LOL

Bryan took the pictures, I wish he had taken one of the tree. But I am too chicken to go out and re-do it. I think the tree is about 53 years old. Poor thing. This snow was super heavy!

I hope they are busy restoring power to those that lost it and they will come tomorrow!

It is SNEAK PEEK Time! Are you ready?

This is my new FAVORITE! LOL I live in the breath taking BEAUTIFUL Rocky Mountains! People ski here, A LOT! I tried it and my knees felt like they were both broken and my tears froze on my cheeks and it was AWFUL! So a few years went by and my brother, Tracy knew he could make it right! He knew this was my sport and we could have so much fun! After the 9,497,244 CRASH and BURN, again no one should have their knees go in different directions that many times. Snow is not soft and fluffy and made for snow angels in ski slopes! It is slippery. One minute you are standing and OK and the next minute you are on your back. Not only on your back but sliding down the hill.

I am totally using this stamp to sent a card to every single person in my life that slips, for whatever reason! LOL
The sentiments are PERFECT and that is all I can say about that! :)

Chick Challenge #3!! Already???!!!

This is my favorite sketch so far! As soon as I saw it I sat down and made it!

I am LOVING the MME 6 x 6 pads! I am not even putting them away! I am going to just use the whole thing and go buy more when it is gone! I could easily live the rest of my life with only Unity/{ippity} and My Mind's Eye and be forever happy!

I love that the bigger ones have polka dots and the smaller ones have gingham! PERFECT for Stickles! I love cutting them out and popping them up!

I stamped the snowflakes first for a background. Then I stamped the music. Then I embossed the saying. Flattest card I have ever made so I embossed all the trees, cut them out and popped the little ones up!

Chick Challenge #2!

Are y'all playing in these Chick Challenges? No? WHY??? You can win $20. of {ippity} stamps! How great is that?

Here is this weeks sketch. It was WAY easier for me. I forgave my Expression and used it.

I cut 3 ovals. 2 in Kraft and 1 in pink.

I embossed the swirl from Make Your Mark and before I even knew what I was doing I stamped the smile from How You Doin'? [I keep hoping at some point I can mature enough to not LOL every time I type the name of this set, so far no such luck LOL] on in Chestnut Roan my favorite ink instead of the Versamark. I am pretty sure I have nearly lost my mind! I embossed, cut out and popped up my favorite flower from Flowers + Friends = Priceless. I wish you could see the inside of this flower, it is BEAUTIFUL, it embosses perfectly!!

Here you can see how I attached the ovals to make the card.

I just scored the bottom oval so the front of the card looks flat. So super easy!

Now, I own around 56 Cricut cartridges. My sister or my BFF may have a few of them, but not one of them has this fantastic square shape! I spent really long time going through all the extras too!

So I decided a rectangle would have to do. I used a Spellbinder because you know I am mad at the Cricut LOL The paper is from a 6 x 6 Making Memories pad that might be as old as I am!

The circle is a Quickutz nesting die. The 3 dots are Ranger's enamel accents. I LOVE them. I want every color they make! The {ippity} set, That's Creepy I embossed and cut out the spider, hat and sayings. Easy as can be and they look pretty cute all piled up like that. The twine is from my stash.

WCMD Unity Challenge # 1

This challenge was to use an embossing folder and white or colored core cardstock. Then all you had to do was sand it. One of my favorite things to do!

HAPPY World Card Making Day!

I made this card last night. I made the flower, lots of embossing and cutting. I used Now & Always by {ippity} and a Recollections pearl and lots of Stickles.

I used the new {ippity} set Thanks For All Things to stamp the flower border. I tied on the ribbon and then completely changed my mind. Instead of going with vertical I decided it would be so much cuter horizontal, so I stamped on the sentiment. I used lots of pop-dots and glue dots to get the flower where I wanted it with the bow loops and strings where I thought they looked best. All with COMPLETE success of not trashing the wet Stickles.

Now if I just had an Arabic friend to send it to that would be great because their right way to read is our backwards way to read!

WHAT A DORK!

How I get through the day must be a small miracle LOL

I am posting this for 2 reasons. 1. It's funny to see that not all cards end well. They just don't LOL and 2. This is a really good sneak peek of the new Thanks For All Things set that will be available for purchase on the 5th!

I am wanting to reorganize all my QK dies. I am over the zipper books. I want to put them in numerical order. I have 9 for my alphabets, they are pink. I really want more pink for my dies. I keep bidding $12. on Ebay, but not in the right colors. There is always silver or tan. I might just go against everything and use a ton of colors LOL. Maybe one of you knows a different tin that fits into the Magpie case? I think $4. a tin plus shipping is a little pricey, do any of you remember what they were when they came out?

Oh, how I love to reorganize! If I scrapped as much as I re-do everything I might not be so far behind LOL

My Michael's Haul!

It has been decided, I will have another garage sale LOL I only spent about $30 more than I made LOL

I have a Flip, but I have no desire to learn how to get a video on my blog LOL So pictures will have to do! Are you ready? This was BIG fun! Carlee and I had to run to the post office for work and she wanted to go somewhere else. So I picked Michael's. We had not been in there for a very long time. Like 5 or 6 months! The last time I went I got so many screaming deals I decided I better not go back for a long while LOL That may or may not have been decided again. LOL!!

Here we go:

I am not actually thrilled with this set of Studio G and I wouldn't let her get the alphabets. That girl of mine pulled all of these out herself! Everyone was cracking up. She had them stacked into her tiny hands and kept saying let's straighten these out and she would tap them on the floor. She had everyone in there admiring her sorting skills LOL She let me put the duplicates back and happily carried these around in both hands tapping everything in sight! They were only $0.85 each so I got them for her LOL

I need to leave Carlee at home LOL She talked me into the princess page kit too. I have no idea what I will do with it, but Carlee does have some princess outfits so I think I can make it work LOL They were on sale for $5.94 pretty good deal! That darling Sizzix flower die on sale for $6.79 SCORE!

3 DCWV stacks for $7.99! SCORE!

Morgan's birthday is Friday and she is OBSESSED with duct/DUCK tape. The gems on the left and the big ones on the right 28 cents each! Carlee suckered me into the fairy stickers too. She will stick them on the wall the second I turn my head LOL More volleyball and peace sign stuff for Morgan.

The buttons, a ton of them! 28 cents! The M pad, 34 cents! The glitter in darling glass jars, 28 cents! Who in their right mind could pass these great deals up?

The butterfly stamps were also 28 cents! The darling vintage ones went up. They are $1.50 now instead of a dollar. I didn't realize that but with my coupon I got them for $1.27.

OK, for those of you that know my flower wall, you HUSH! Or I won't share so well any more LOL I guess Recollections teamed up with Prima! Only these have GLITTER!!! Can you believe it? On sale for $2.97 each! If Bryan comes home and says I got a $100. cash spiff today I will snatch it out of his hand and run back as fast as I can and buy the rest of the colors! I'll shout over my shoulder and ask if he could hang just one more shelf on the flower wall while I am gone! LOL I LOVE these flowers! I love the jars, I love the size and now I love the sparkles!

How funny are these? LOL The coasters were $0.68 One says Make yourself at home! CLEAN my kitchen. LOL The other one says Let's talk about How Fabulous you think I am! I love funny coaster to scatter around the living room or where ever my peeps set their drinks. I love making recipe albums and these recipe cards are so funny. Another Make yourself at home! CLEAN my kitchen, plain with a colander, It's another day in Paradise minus the paradise. LMAO Anyone who knows me, knows I hate to cook! LOL But I do it because Bryan gets so happy about it and I like making that man happy LOL and the last one is another Let's talk about How Fabulous you think I am! All the recipe cards were only $0.34!

The butterfly charms were only $0.34. The flowers were $1.99.

Are you still with me? LOL These darling little things are for ATC art. Really fun glass jars full of beads and bling. Each one only $2.49. They had a TON of them. Some just glitter, some just micro beads. I wanted all of them they are all so pretty but I have a ton of glitter already.

I remember 9*11*01 like it was yesterday. It was the worst and continues to be the worst for everyone involved.

Today I just so happened to do two totally random acts of kindness. They didn't cost me a cent. Truth be told if I am going to be totally honest which I always try to be, they made my life easier. Less to take to the Good Will after the sale ended.

Today involved 2 customers from yesterday's garage sales. One was 7. She wanted a particular movie and I thought Morgan might have it. I got her Mom's number [only I got it wrong] and when Morgan found the much wanted movie I guess I decided I was on a mission. I tracked down 2 other peeps from my Cookie Mom days 3 years ago. They made the magic happen. I collected all the books and all the movies and gave them all to that girl.

Then another random lady came yesterday and was up to amazing good causes. She even called in her sister-in-law. Today she came back with a different cause. A new Mom decided to not give her baby up for adoption and she had nothing! I gave her everything I was taking to the Good Will. This lady was a Littleton Public School teacher. We had totally discussed Carlee being a Little Person and how I should address her not being able to get on a toilet by herself. So when she said "Can I ask you something"? I said SURE! assuming it was about Carlee being an LP. She said May I just hug you?

Seriously.

I was so gross! About 8 hours of sweat and bruises and dirt and water and diet coke and cupcakes [a whole other story] This woman hugged my neck like I was a famous person.

And without sounding full of conceit and being self absorbed, that my friends is what we need to do every day. If we could just help out in the tiniest bit every day, imagine the hugs and happiness we could create! I did not plan ANY of it. It just simply happened and it was PERFECT.

BTW, I made $16.00 in cash today. A MILLION in my heart & totally worth every second!

So tomorrow, hardly even try to help just one person. If we ALL do this things will be so much better!

I am 99.9% sure I do not own these sets. The months, all 12 of them I am pretty sure I own. What set it goes to, I have no idea. Same with LUCKY and the lawn chair but I can't find them. This is the last card Carla made for me during her last visit. I will be demanding that she return shortly! I was working and she was sitting behind me cutting some random circle/oval shapes in pattern paper. Then she roughed up all the edges, and crumpled them all up. Abuse right? Then she layered them all up, punched a hole in the middle of them and stuck a brad in the middle.

Aren't they beautiful? She used Make Your Mark by {ippity} and some Brown and White Twine to finish it off!

Bryan still swears the reason why she is the healthiest Little Person on the planet is because she breast fed for ~~10 years~~ 2 1/2 years. :)

My over the top talented sister, Carla made this beauty!

Isn't it amazing? I LOVE it! She used an {ippity} set called The Best, which is one of my all time favorites! I love that she made the bow as big as the card. I also love that she piled all those flowers on there. Sometimes I cringe when she gets into the Primas. Then I remember that I love her more than anything and she was my partner in crime when I bought 75% of my of Primas :) My hopes are that she uses a ton more and makes me tons and tons of beautiful cards!

We all have our addictions right? My Sister, Carla has a thing for glitter. We have talked intervention but so far her DH and 3 sons are not complaining too much about being sparkly. ;-) We actually love it when we sit down to dinner and even the men in our lives have glitter on them. LOL

So when she decided to start a challenge blog I knew I would want in on it! The first challenge, Use Glitter LOL That is not a challenge for me. I too LOVE the stuff!

My next door neighbor had a baby boy last week so made her the card below.

I didn't clean up after myself so I just made another one and added the glitter heart when another friend of mine also had a baby boy! Two boys in one week!

Lucky and Not So Lucky

Lucky, because Carlee even slept with her paws up so we could admire them!

Not so lucky because I still can't leave comments on blogs unless a separate window pops up. Can someone tell me why some blogs the comments are on the page and some a window pops up?

This layout is about the be ~~trashed~~ changed. That heart made from Recollections crappy gemstones keeps popping off. I have tried to make the heart look like a heart about 6 times. It will pop off and make a layer of paper come off. So I am going to make a new heart, throw the gems in the trash and cover the mess it made on the paper and redo the journaling. I really dislike redoing pages but some times you just have to. LOL Also the picture totally fell off shortly after I took this picture. The picture is on the coolest DCWV paper but the ATG gun isn't cutting it. I'll use glue dots once I figure out the heart. That is why it is crooked. If I didn't love this piece of paper so much I would quit trying to make this work LOL I might just shove all of it in a page protector and just slap a sticky note with a sketch on it LMAO!

We have always had a take as many pictures as you want policy in our house and I love the shots she captures! She is super careful with my Cannon Rebel and it has been completely worth the risk of letting her use it! That camera is now 5 years old and still works like a champ and I have thousands of amazing pictures to scrap!

It is true and I am not sorry! :) We still, even almost 4 years later are not over Carlee's paws!

They say that Little People have 'star-shaped' hands. I don't know if her paws look like stars, but they are so cute. Today while we were at the dentist and she was screaming bloody murder, I'll bet I kissed them both 100 more times.

Can you believe I am 3 years and 9 months behind on Carlee's album? Same for Morgan. I am working on her Brownie album from when I was pregnant and the size of a barn in all the pictures. Good times. LOL

If you don't have a 3 year old that really loves to sing The Wonder Pets theme song at the top of their lungs then you won't get the title.

But that is exactly what is going on with this card. TEAM WORK! I stamped the laundry and honestly I can't remember if I stamped the sentiment or not LOL But I know for a fact I ran out of steam and slid the card right across the tables to my sister, Carla and said finish this please while I watch you. It's official LOL My neighbor had a baby yesterday and I am almost dreading making the card because all I want to do is scrap my baby LOL and hold her baby LOL

I already shared this layout on Creative Cuts and More, but I wanted to show it here and tell you about Eeyore.

Isn't he the cutest thing you have ever seen? I have been hoarding him since July of 2000! LOL One of my greatest friends, Christy Spencer made him and I never used him in Morgan's album. I thought he was perfect for this layout because we sort of looked just like that every time we put Carlee in her car seat and she screamed like that. We went to the Doctor and to pick up or drop off Morgan. The rest could wait. Carlee HATED the car seat and I rarely arrived any where without tear drops on my shirt.

Thank you Christy! I love this Eeyore and I miss you more than you know!

I made an 8 x 8 Album. There are a TON of them to choose from! I picked Decorative Window 8" x 8" Album Chipboard Set and I ordered extra pages in acetate and the covers in acetate as well.

We go to Oklahoma every year to see Bryan's family and every year Morgan finds a turtle!

Meet Victor, isn't he cute? The ribbon on the rings is from my stash. The font and the turtle are from the Cricut.

Please excuse this weird angle LOL It is next to impossible to get the acetate page to show! Can you see it? The little pocket on the bottom will be coming to out website soon!

This is the other side of the acetate, see how the pattern paper shows through from the cover? I LOVE that! The wave and envelope with the journaling tag will also be available soon. The bikini bottom is a dollar stamp from Studio G.

The acetate pages are a challenge for me because you have to plan both sides at the same time. When it comes together I can hear the angels sing LOL The Twine wrapped around worked out perfectly! I love these pages! You will be seeing a lot of them in the future! The flowers are by Prima I stuck a 'skittle' in the middle. The label and the tab are SU! punches.

The bigger flowers are by DoodleBug I think! The brads, button and bling are from my stash. The Decorative Label was invented for me I'm pretty sure LOL I LOVE it and could use it on every page and every card for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy! I've been working on Terry the owner of CC&M to design more in custom sizes. *wink, wink*!

The Tag #04 - Small fits perfectly in a darling pocket that will be available soon! The butterflies are from a Martha punch I added Stickles to them. The grapes are from a CookBookin' set. The rhinestones are DoodleBug Jewels. Another new die we have is the Ice Cream Cone. I LOVE it! The ice cream is separate so you can have as many scoops as you want. I can't wait to make a 12 x 12 page with them all the way up the side! So cute! There is the Decorative Label again!

Here is the back side of the acetate page. The girls marked Victor with some zebra print tape so he would not forget his name! The turtle is a CuttleKids.

This is Kim my girls LOVE their older sister! Did I mention anything about LOVING the Decorative Label? LOL The journaling block is an {ippity} stamp from A Moment In Time and the heart is from another {ippity} set called Straight From The Heart.

I can't find time to do both. LOL The girls get whatever energy I have left!

I wanted to let you know that Friday Creative Cuts and Stuck On You Sketches is having a joint blog hop! Our theme is summer and both design teams made mini albums. I LOVE making mini albums so I am excited to see what everyone made!

I stepped down from being the DT coordinator. I am completely frazzled all the time lately. I can't seem to give anything 100% and that is very unlike me. Some things have to go and that was one of them. Next thing is the yard! I am calling a lawn service to come mow it. I just don't have time YIPPEE!!! Now, if only I could find someone to come clean the house for $18. a week LOLOLOLOLOL

While making one of the albums for the hop I tried something, it worked, I love it and I wanted to share!

Super cute for cards. They say smile, thanks, sweet and hello. Not so great for a recipe album.

So, before I put the embossing powder on, I colored in the words with my embossing pen!

Oh, how I love to alter a stamp and make it work!

Carlee is getting so big. She looks like a little girl instead of a baby now. It's a good thing I got my tubes tied or I'd be trying to get pregnant! I think a baby belongs on my hip!

This is how I amuse myself. I sent my brother funny cards LOL

I am thinking he would LOVE Adele so I wanted to send him her CD's.

He takes care of my Dad on top of this mountain in beautiful Petit Jean Park in Arkansas! Not too many music stores to look through there LOL

I had to make a card to go with them and this is what I came up with.

I am slightly addicted to this Waterfall Card Set from CC&M LOL

I stamped on every surface I could get my hands on LOL I embossed the mushrooms and the quote. They are both from Because of You.

I stamped the front of the kraft squares with Thoughts From The Past. I stamped the back with Dots For Sure. I sprayed the white squares with Glimmer Mist. Then I embossed the mushrooms right on top of it! I had never done that before and I wondered if the embossing powder would stick all over and it didn't! It worked just fine. The flowers are from A Moment In Time.

This is my favorite {ippity} quote because I have a ton of Peeps in my life that make good times great times! But I also really love the butterflies thrown in there! Super cute!

Then when I started to check it to see if it pulled out smoothly and I totally belly ache laughed.

It was, however totally stinkin' sketchy!! LOL But I lived through my internet being down LOL

It worked fine this AM and I actually worked! We decided to take the girls to a late lunch and feed our old neighbor's cats, and grocery shop! We did it in record speed, Morgan needed to be at Youth Group by 5:30. Well that was cancelled, we just didn't know. We were so happy to be done with errands and have plenty of tine to work, read email etc LOL

Only for the first time with Q we were denied LOL They have made me MAD, MAD, MAD with their changes over the years, but I have never been totally denied!

We didn't like it at all. I decided Bryan is a real pain for my scrappin' time when he can't be amused with his hunting message boards! LOL He and Carlee chased me around the house "getting'" me. I just wanted to cut orders or go make a card LOL

Lucky for me, my Peeps ROCK and we made the best of it LOL

I have some cards ready to post, but it must wait! I had to check SCS, my mail, you know! I can't blog this late!

The new {ippity} stamps ROCK! I just need you to trust me on this :)

A few little sneak peeks!

So you know that job I told you about yesterday? It's perfect! No new wardrobe for the office, no sitter for Carlee. I was in my pajamas until 4:30 and when I finally showered I got right back into clean pajamas and went back at it!

Well you know how training goes. Everything that never happens always happens. LOL I got frustrated a couple of times and you have to spend so much time on the phone getting things worked out. I am promised soon I can do this and watch TV at the same time. I can't wait for that LOL I already miss listening to my books! LOL

So any way, by the time I got to my room the only good thing that happened was having a beer with my pal Andrea while we texted on her Birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLFRIEND! I wish I had known!

I made some really ugly stuff last night LOL I could not get it together to save my life LOL

I'm trying to make some masculine cards for a friend of mine and I really am awful at it LOL

That bottom strip of DP?? I had to attach that to the front of the card because the border punch I used looked way too feminine so I cut it off. I wanted a little color in it and I really thought I could make this MME paper work. Well I couldn't LOL I thought a strip of the same paper instead of a ribbon would work. Well, it didn't LOL But do you see those STAMPS?? Those work and boy do they work well! :)

Now with AMAZING stamp, [did you know I have an addiction to butterflies? I do!] I thought if I use black on orange I can get the Monarch look. [Side note I was a Monarch in 5th grade in Pacific Grove, CA! In the butterfly parade! I rocked the look if I don't say so myself LMAO

However something made me thing if I went with the lighter orange and used textured cardstock it would work better. Again, it didn't LOL But the stamp is VERY cool and I like it's messy look on textured, I will do this again only with a real orange, nothing summery LOL

This was when I said I am done. I'm going to bed. NOTHING is coming together for me. I wanted clean and simple. Only the glittery EP is crap. It doesn't melt well and pretty much bad EP ruins everything in my card making world LOL

Rearranging our scrap rooms is the best move I have ever made! Morgan scraps with me almost every night. Her friends are all coming over to make locker decorations etc. We are having such a blast!

My sister and I found this peace sign at the second hand store. I think I paid $0.50 for it and Morgan worked on it for 4 nights!

The apple didn't fall far from the tree over here! She is the embossing QUEEN! I for sure need a back up gun now! LOL

She cuts better than I do! She embossed, colored and cut out every image! Then she added Stickles to everything! [That was after I took all the pictures though]

The actual sign is a sticker on both sides. She put the paper down and cut out all the holes and the edges and then filed them smooth!

Didn't she do a great job?

She is on a 3 day mission trip this week. They are sleeping at the church every night. Yesterday they worked at the animal shelter [I'll bet she fell in love with something and we will have a new pet]. They are working with the homeless people too. This afternoon they get a break and get to go swim. Would it be wrong of us to show up at the pool and press our faces against the fence just so we can see her cute face? Carlee would bewailing as I run back to the car and we'd be busted for sure LOL

Summer Card Camp 2011 Week 1 - Monday

This is my first online class and I really like it. I printed out the pdf file and I may have actually skipped down the hall to my scrap room in the middle of the day! :)

I'd like to tell you what NOT to buy!

I am a HUGE fan of Studio G! I love their little stamps! Their little square inks are 10 times better than ColorBox's cat eyes! I have never had one fall off and ruin my shirt!

However, their kidz line SUCKS! The stamps in the container were not harmed in this little project!

See those big darling ink pads? They have the strangest smell! Not a big deal right? As Carlee stamped I piled up the stamps to be cleaned on a plate. [Her glass lunch plate which is in the dishwasher now, who knows what that will look like.]

These stamps are so sticky I can not get the ink off! I think I am going to have to throw them away. Today I am going to go buy Dawn [Thanks Terry] I have Palmolive and it's not working even a little!

{EDITED TO ADD: THE INK MADE THEM STICKY!! THE STAMPS ROCK!}

My nail brush has been soaking in BLEACH for over 24 hours and it still looks awful. I had no idea ink could be this sticky. You should see my fingernails!

You can't really see the ink that is stuck on the sink. I am not the best housekeeper on the planet, but I LOVE a sparkling clean sink and I no longer have that.

I had a 20% off entire purchase for these ink pads. So I spent a whopping $3.20 to ruin a ton of stuff LOL

You should buy {ippity} though! Those stamps ROCK! :) You totally knew that was coming right? ;) LOL
